Storm

"Inuy-a!"

"Master!"

Yan Yan and Grey cried in alarm as they ran towards Lander. They were worried.

Following them were Great Baron Bobby, the Village Chief's daughter, the enchanting woman, the potion maker, and the rest.

The potion maker squinted her eyes when she saw that the yellowish skin of Lander returning to its original color. She also checked that the effects of the Green Poison Thund Leaf were dissipating, "How could this be? Did he experience death?"

Some people twitched their lips, "If you were in his place isn't it death? Do you think you can overcome it and survive those three attacks by a Rank C beast?"

The potion maker was silent. Indeed, her survival would be zero percent if she was in Lander's shoes.

While they were having discussions, Yan Yan who first went there was glad that Lander was still breathing, then she used her cloth to wipe all the blood from Lander's body.

Seeing this, the enchanting woman waved her hand, and a pouch containing water sprung in front of her then she passed it to Yan Yan, "Use this."

"Thank You, Milady!" Yan Yan graciously nodded and grabbed the pouch as she used it to thoroughly clean Lander's body.

"It's to thank you too for helping us with my mount a while ago. So thank you!" The enchanting woman said smiling. If Yan Yan hadn't punched her mount when they were escaping, they wouldn't have been safe and it also gave an interval for the Great Baron Bobby to show himself. Who knows how many of her people would die if she didn't intervene before the Great Baron Bobby showed himself. She thought that Senior Bobby was sent by her father to protect her.

But in reality, the Great Baron Bobby was just passing by when he noticed the commotion. He was about to continue when the first thing he noticed was Yan Yan and her actions. He never imagined that in such a short period when he first met her, she became a very agile person. Although she wasn't yet strong enough, if she stayed with Lander, she would become stronger.

"How are his wounds, little girl?" The Great Baron Bobby asked.

"I don't know about his wounds but he's still breathing." Yan Yan spoke embarrassed as she has a little bit of knowledge when it comes to treating wounds.

"Let me check him," Although she wasn't a healer, she has also a decent experience when it comes to treating. When she noticed that all his wounds were cleaned up by Yan Yan, she immediately waved her hand and a bandage appeared that she used to bandage all of Lander's wounds. After that she brought out a Blessed Water to wash her hands, "He's stable. Only the Boa Poison is affecting him but it will soon be detoxified by the Tonic Fate Mushroom. He only needs two full days to recover."

"That's good to hear." Great Baron Bobby exclaimed with relief. Yan Yan was also in relief as tears rolled down her cheeks. Grey was also very happy jumping all around.

"Then let's head to the Wyvern capital," The enchanting woman said while looking at the Great Baron Bobby.

The Great Baron Bobby looked at Yan Yan, "Little girl, where are you guys heading?"

"To the Wyvern capital, Inuy-a said that he wanted to be a student in the Wyvern Academy," Yan Yan replied.

"What!?" The people were aghast.

"Interesting! But doesn't he know that the Wyvern Academy doesn't accept outcasts as students?" The Great Barron laughed before speaking.

"He knew and I also told him that it was a bad idea but he always insists and would proclaim that he will make trouble if they won't accept him." Yan Yan said shaking her head.

During their travel, Yan Yan asked Lander one time what they were going to do at the Wyvern capital then he told her that he wanted to be a student at the Wyvern Academy. When she heard this, she told him that outcasts are forbidden in the Academy.

But Lander just shrugged and had this confidence as if nothing was impossible for him.

"I don't know if he's dumb or not but we better hurry and go back to Wyvern capital," The enchanting woman said.

"We will be reaching the capital in two days, but I sense something is wrong," The Great Baron Bobby proclaimed.

Hearing that, the group of people looked at each other and they also looked around sensing any possible danger.

Lander who was still unconscious opened his eyes, he was still in pain but he gritted his teeth and looked around.

"Inuy-a!" Cried Yan Yan.

All the people stared at him, why was this man so unpredictable? The potion maker just told them that he needed two days before he woke up but it was just an hour and he was already awake.

The potion maker was dumbfounded and found this situation embarrassing as she was the one who proclaimed that he would wake up after two days.

"Are you okay young man? Don't force yourself!" The Great Baron Bobby asked in a worrying tone.

Lander didn't reply as he just stood there and looked around, he didn't dare to move too much as the pain in his body was still very severe. Then he noticed the ants not far from them hurrying home. The lotuses rushed to jump in one direction. Also, some birds are in a frenzy then he stares at Grey, the panther, and the dragon, "Master I feel something is coming."

Hearing that Lander slumped down and then coughed a mouthful of blood. He still greeted his teeth picked a handful of soil and slowly dropped it.

The people were curious about what he was doing. Even the Great Baron Bobby and the enchanting woman have curious looks on their faces.

The soil dropped slowly but it never went in any direction.

"Just as I expected. A storm is coming. Grey go find us a cave," Lander proclaimed as he coughed another mouthful of blood ordering Grey.

Then Grey ran away but the dragon informed him that there was a cave not far away from here.

"Storm? How could there be a storm when the night is so beautiful?" One of the people asked.

"Exactly! The moon was even so bright that it gave us enough light to see the surroundings," Another one proclaimed.

"Calm beneath the storm," Lander just stated coughing another mouthful of blood and he closed his eyes.

"Let's go to the cave then," the Great Baron Bobby said as he carried Lander.

The dragon led the way, Grey, Yan Yan, and the Great Baron Bobby who was carrying Lander were following.

"How could there be a storm? It was obviously a lie that the Great Baron believed." The leader of the swordsmen disdained and shook his head. A lot of people nodded their heads.

"Let's go back to the capital." He said as he led the way and many people followed him.

The enchanting woman was in a dilemma, she was worried that she might not arrive on time during the centennial celebration if she followed Great Baron Bobby.

Then she gritted her teeth as she moved towards where the Great Baron was heading. Seeing this, the leader of the swordsmen was fuming in anger, "How dare that outcast tell a lie and be believed by milady!"

Alas, most of the people who stayed behind were perplexed as to whom they would follow. The potion maker was curious about Lander as she couldn't fathom and understand him. So she followed Lander and the rest.

"Trust me! We will be safer if we follow Lander," The Village Chief's daughter urged her fellow outcasts and they also followed the potion maker.

"Naaah! My body is in pain and I just wanted a comfortable rest, let's go back to the capital." One of them said that was agreed by a lot of people.

The rest were the fans of the enchanting woman so they followed the outcasts.

Soon, Lander and the rest arrived at the cave followed by a group of people. They were about to enter when the strong winds came blowing the plants and trees around. Even the dresses of lots of women were not spared they had to use their hands to make it intact.

Entering, they noticed the night was getting darker, and suddenly, a deafening rumbling of thunders was heard now and then. Soon beads of rain came pouring down.

The Great Baron was aghast, "Is this the ominous feeling I felt?"

The enchanting woman sighed, "Good thing I followed them."

The potion maker was even more interested in Lander, "I don't know how he predicted this storm."

The outcasts were truly relieved as they followed the Village Chief's daughter's urging.

The others who were loyal fans of the enchanting woman also sighed in relief, happy that they made the right choice.

Then the people and beast were divided into three groups, the outcasts, the elites, and Lander's group. Each group prepared their sleeping areas.

As for Lander's group, Yan Yan started preparing to cook food applying the things she learned from Lander while Lander was sleeping cozily in a corner arranged by Yan Yan.

Yan Yan brought out the remaining meats they had. "Excuse me, Great Baron, but are you carrying rice with you?"

The Great Baron waved his hand and a sack of rice levitated and flew towards Yan Yan.

Yan Yan was cooking porridge for Lander and she was grilling meat at the same time for the four of them, Great Baron, his dragon, Grey, and her.

Not far from them, the two groups smelled the appetizing aroma of food as they gulped down. Even the enchanting woman squinted her eyes as she stared at Yan Yan.

From time to time, Yan Yan was brushing the meat. She also thoroughly mixed the rice which she also learned by watching Lander's cooking.

Soon, the food was ready and she served it to the three while she carried a bowl of porridge and went beside Lander, "Inuy-a, the food is ready. Time for you to eat."

Lander slowly opened his eyes and stared at the bowl of porridge. Yan Yan scooped, blew the hotness, and then put it inside Lander's mouth.

"HA HA! I never expected that your cooking would be superb too!" Great Baron Bobby praised as he laughed and devoured the meat.

The dragon also licked its lips as it gulped down the meat in one sitting, it gave a contented smile but it was not satisfied. It needs more.

Grey, also was not satisfied so Yan Yan gave him her meat which made Grey jump for joy. The dragon was jealous, Grey noticed its jealousy so he shared with it his meat, which made the dragon happy.

Seeing this, the panther gulped down salivating a lot. It was filled with the desire to eat also some meat and was very jealous watching the other two beasts.

Looking at this scene, the potion maker couldn't hold it anymore as she went towards Yan Yan, "Excuse me little girl but can you cook this for me?"

A large chunk of meat was levitating in front of them and Yan Yan said, "But I'm still helping inuy-a to eat."

"Let me do that for you and you can help me cook this," The potion maker said wearing her sweetest smile.

"Alright!" Yan Yan gave her the bowl of porridge as she caught the chunk of meat and started grilling it.

Also, the other elites went towards her and told her to cook for them, "I will cook these meats for you under one condition.."

"What condition?" One of the elites asked.

"I will cut a portion in each meat so that I can give it to them," Yan Yan said as she pointed at the outcast group.

"What a kind little girl. Of course, you can have a portion for them!" One of the elites praised, and the others also nodded their heads.

Hearing this, the outcasts were moved and some had tears even falling down their cheeks as they expressed their gratitude kowtowing in front of Yan Yan, "Thank you!"

Even the enchanting woman couldn't help herself licking her lips as she also surrendered her meats and asked Yan Yan to cook it.

Soon, the night became a feast. Some elites even brought out their liquor and shared it with everyone. The three beasts sensed some beasts at the entrance of the cave that they rushed and the people were bewildered. Soon they came back with wild boars and rabbits in their mouth.

These wild beasts smelled the aroma of food so they followed it but never they expected that there were stronger beasts inside.

The three beasts dropped the wild boars and animals in front of Yan Yan. Seeing this, Yan Yan twitched her lips. The Village Chief's daughter went towards Yan Yan and helped. The other outcasts also helped. Even some elites copied Yan Yan's action and the entire cave became a grilling area.
