Taylor made a mistake, and that mistake was accepting that obviously suspicious recruitment banner.

Now she's in a group that was filled with delusional people thinking that they're from another reality.

As for the blue screen, she thought of it as an unknown cape power, stranger possibly.

Then, this person known as Blake, the administrator of this delusional group chat, said her name.

HER. FUCKING. NAME!

And that changed everything, and because of that, her brain went into overdrive, even after using her insect powers to lessen her emotions.

They know her, what should she do?! It's just her first night of being a vigilante and someone already knows her!

She continued to spread her emotions to her insects, after a few moments she managed to regain the semblance of her sanity, she could now think a bit clearer.

She swears if she didn't have the ability to put her emotions into her insects, she'd die already from an anxiety attack.

Now that regained her bearings, she noticed something different from the blue screen, it was a video..?

No, a live stream?

It shows a handsome blonde letting an awkward laugh.

She thought, 'This person is one of them? He looks normal..? No, let's not jump too quickly. I should analyze this..'

Then her eyes widened as the camera switched direction, it showed a spartan red hair and a blonde girl with a wild jet hairstyle.

They were so pretty, both of them were more beautiful than the famous Glory Girl in her opinion, but that wasn't the reason why she was surprised.

It was the way they fought, they were almost so fast for her eyes to follow, then to mention how skilled they were using their weapo-

Wait, did the redhead just turn her spear into a shotgun?! H-how is that possible?! Is that a tinker-tech device?! But the redhead girl doesn't seem to be a Tinker at all! She's more like a Mover, Brute, and a Striker!

Taylor's eyes widened once more, seeing the blonde also had a tinker-tech! Is that a gauntlet shotgun?!

No, no it's not just that she's also as skilled as the redhead girl, maybe stronger than her.

Despite being confused, however, one thing did happen, her eyes were now glued to the screen, she couldn't take it off if you want to, she was just so enchanted by the fighting.

Unlike cape fighting with their powers, it's usually messy and causes a lot of destruction. She had seen a lot of them happening, but this is different from those fights. It's nothing messy, instead, it was graceful, beautiful even, it's like she's watching an art rather than a fight.

Vastly different from those messy cape fights that she usually sees.

A desire was born inside her, she wanted this, she wanted to do things like them, fight like them.

Not, like her…

Suddenly she became disappointed as she realized that this desire of hers wouldn't come true as she doesn't have a power that could make her move as fast, or as strong as them.

What she got is just useless in a fight, a weak ability to control insects.

She bit her lips in frustration, but before she could further be more frustrated, suddenly the blonde knight that she saw before spoke.

"Skitter, or Taylor you probably don't know this unlike the other members, but what your seeing right now is a fight between a huntress-in-training, I don't know if your world had superpowers but in my world, we have this so-called aura, it's the manifestation of our soul, once it's unlocked you'd gain something akin to a forcefield it would protect you from most physical attacks, not only that it would also make you stronger, faster and durable like what you've seen, and I'll say this to you, it's possible for you to do things like them, hope your listening or it's just me talking to myself." The blonde knight let out a chuckle.

For a moment, Taylor didn't know what to say, the blonde knight's words took an effect on her, he said that she could be like them too.

She became a bit hopeful, was it true? If it's real then, maybe she'll stay with this group for a while.

Just in case, to see if he's lying or not.

I was a bit surprised by Jaune's words, I didn't expect him to say something like that, however, if Taylor is listening it should have some impact on her at least.

After the fight between Pyrrha and Yang, Jaune stopped the live stream, it was probably enough to make her stay.

Skitter (Member):

"I..is it true that I can do things like them?"

Oh…I think Jaune's words had more impact than I thought.

Blake (Administrator) (TheKnowItAll):

"If you mean getting aura? Sure, everyone has one, or at least what the people from Jaune's world say."

I did try asking Jaune to unlock mine, but he couldn't not because I'm lacking aura, but because he doesn't know how to unlock someone else's aura, he's a beginner after all.

He doesn't have the same aura control as his partner, I'll get mine unlocked next mission.

Seeing that we'll go to an alternative version of RWBY, it would still be fun seeing another version of Jaune there.

KnightArc (Member):

"That's true, even though I lived in Remnant for a decade and a half, I just recently discovered the existence of aura. If it wasn't for my partner unlocking mine, I would have remained ignorant."

Skitter (Member):

"I...I see…this is unbelievable I can't believe I'm saying this but…are you people really from different realities?"

Blake (Administrator) (TheKnowItAll):

"Yeah, like I said before we are, hey everyone let's all take a picture of our world and post it here. I'm doing it first."

On the screen, it shows the university I study along with students around. I took it a while ago for no reason, I didn't think I'd have some use for it.

KnightArc (Member):

"Well, here's mine. I took this when I arrived at Vale."

The picture that he posted was something that was usually seen in sci-fi movies. Vale is simply futuristic, with bullheads above the sky, and an advertisement screen plastered around in tall buildings.

There's also a holographic screen that shows the news.

I know that Jaune's world is advanced, but what the heck, it's too advanced, it's more advanced than I imagined.

Not to mention the graphic of the picture, it's too realistic no one would mistake it as edited unless they're idiots of course.

Skitter (Member):

"W..woah…is this really real..? It doesn't seem to be edited…no way…"

Woah, indeed it's my reaction too, after we do a mission in RWBY-VERSE I'm totally buying high-tech gadgets.

Oh, wait, I could buy them in the shop too, let's see how much is this 'scroll'

How?! That's too cheap! For a high-tech like this to cost 2 mere GP, what about those who cost 100 GP?

Honestly, I don't want to think about it, for now, I'm going to buy a customized one.

A black scroll, with golden color on each of its corners, it also glows in the dark perfectly.

I bought two, one for me and the other for Taylor, this would be the final nail in the coffin, she'll believe that we're no delusional people and that we're actually from different realities.

Oh holy fuck, is this what it looks like outside her office?! Just by looking at the magma around, made me start sweating just by looking at this picture.

Not to mention, those skeleton creatures that have hulking bodies look intimidating, but I have a feeling that they're easy to beat.

First of all, it wasn't a compliment, second this is a better place? I shuddered to imagine hell before it became a 'better place'

Also, I wonder how she stayed white, she's living in a place filled with lava, she should be black or at least tanned.

Is this the power of magic?

Whatever, questioning 'how' she stayed pale white all this time, is pointless. I decided to forget about it.

Anyway, I've gifted Taylor the scroll I bought from the shop, using the gifting feature.

Taylor blinked at this notification, she wasn't sure what to do, not after what she had seen.

Her perspective of reality was slowly breaking, she began to doubt things.

Taylor decided to see what 'gift' the group administrator sent her.

Her eyes widened as a high-tech device fell right in front of her hands, her jaw dropped and that was the final nail in the coffin.

As the reality, she once knew slowly breaking into pieces.

"Oh god, it's real t-they're really from different realities!" Taylor couldn't handle the mental strain, plus she was mentally and physically tired, to begin with, she fainted on spot.

Alright, that's how they made Taylor believe that they're from a different reality from hers.

2-3 More chapters before, I start a new Arc the RWBY Arc!
