The Letter M (1)

The Letter M casino was a luxurious high rise that was as lavish on the outside as it was on the inside. Brightly decorated with lights and many gold accents, it drew the eye and kept it with the promise of money. Whether added or subtracted was up to the individual gambler's skillset.

My arm was hooked with my husband's as we made our way up the red carpet, ignoring—for the most part—the paparazzi who was nearly trampling each other to scream at us.

"Amaria, who are you wearing?!"

"Are you pregnant?!"

"Did you bail Delilah Ramsay out of prison?!"

Jason kissed my hand as we made our way into the building, away from the prying sharks that were the paps. My jaw nearly dropped as I took in the gilded foyer, nearly every surface reflective and gold coloured.

"This must've cost a fortune to build."
