Shadow Realm (Tags - Serious)

Did you know that deep inside your shadow, there is a shadow realm?

Everyone will have a shadow. And the shadow have a world of their own. Sadly, though the shadow may have conscious and thoughts. They are binded to the owner of the shadow till death. And can't move at their own will.

Not only that, the world that they see is different. Sure the shadows are forced to build whatever the person build, but they can only see black and white.

16 years ago, suddenly a light shone upon the world. And trees, started to brighten up. Blessing the colour green upon the world. Nearly every shadow that witnessed this had a tear fell from their eyes.

The shadows, being forced to mimick people conversation have always been confused on what colour has been. And now a colour has suddenly appeared. Like an act of God.

In truth, 16 years ago. A child was born, at the exact time when light and shadow intersects.

This child is unlike what we know. He is a reincarnator of a shadow of the ancient past. A past so far that no one knew about. A lost history. A history where shadows and humans used to interact.

At one year old. Having mastered the ability to go into the shadow realm fully. He caused inbalance and harmony fell apart. Every shadow for a moment felt a sense of control before disappearing immediately.

At two years old, the same child have finished his prepartions. Making a spell that consist of past, present, future, light and shadow. Unbinding the restrictions on the shadows.

Every shadow had full control over their body now.

At this moment, the child fallen. Using this spell would need a soul as a sacrifice...

He should have died then.

But he didn't...

The baby soul that was supposed to have been born in the body, was watching the reincarnator soul wielding the body.. Despite not knowing much. That baby soul knew that the reincarnator soul is going to die if he did nothing.

At this moment, he jumped towards the reincarnator soul and it fused into one.

The reincarnator was saved due to this fusion. But has forgotten most of his memories. And lived his life like a average person. Just that he once a while felt that he has forgotten something.

He should have lead an unknowingly life.

He would have lived an ordinary life.

He would have live a life that he would never be content with.

Its just... Every shadow that has awaken. And the people which have seen what happened started to spread what had happened.

Soon, every shadow gathered around the same child. Watching him grow up. And trying to talk to him. To them, he is their savior.

The irony, prior to the shadows being saved. Every shadow had consciousness. Even if they can't control the body. Looking at their eyes one would know and show it.

But that same child, after fusing his soul. His shadow had no conscious.

14 years later, despite not replying to the shadows. Some have gone to live out their lives. Some have gone in search of hidden history that could save the child. While some stayed and hoped speaking daily would awaken the child or get a reply.

That year, when the child was sleeping. The shadow awoken. Looking dazed and confused of where he is currently. The shadows was ecstatic. But almost after the child awoken and asking where he is, the shadow fell down back to his original position.

The first experience of the shadow realm was chalked up to a dream to the young child.

But following that dream, the feeling that he had forgotten something resurfaced.

That year, one can say many things have happened.

Some shadows found out about the ancient history, and read it to the child.

At some points when reading, the shadow would tremble slightly.

At other points, tears just fell.

The child, did not regain his memories, but started to gain hints about another realm.

Halfway through the year, the child asked for help to himself and to the "people" surrounding him, being read a book about the ancient history may have given him some hints about his origin, but he couldn't regain his memories.

It was at this moment, he looked at the green trees. A sense of comfort filled him. It was also at this moment, it was as if the reincarnator was there again. And used a spell to regain colour in the shadow realm. For 16 years, the reincarnator part of him was unwilling. He may have saved the shadow from a life of being controlled like puppets. He couldn't give them colour. For 16 years, that reincarnator part of the child stayed hidden wanting to burst out. And at the sense of comfort, the reincarnator part of him finally broke free for a second.

At this moment, the child just realized what had happened. And the clues in his life all suddenly seemed clear. There is a realm, a realm he have to return to.

This is the story of the fated child, one who shall reunite light and shadow.
