My Abilities are Harness, Mimicry and Copy! (Tags - Magic, Overpowered)

In a world where magic exists, the main character is finally entering University with his ability!

His ability or abilities are a "set". Set abilities are rarer than people with twin abilities while the usage may be better or worse off. Having a set of three is of course rarer than someone born with three different abilities. As for why are set abilities varies in strength, think of it as an evolution of your ability. The three abilities are always related.

A professor in magic studies theorized that, like twins. Magic Abilities can also be born with multiplies, hence people can born with multiple abilities. But people who are born with set abilities are like people whom are born differently. Like having a sixth finger etc. It could be both useful or useless depending on the situation.

Let's take the ability "Fireball" for example, that person might gain the ability "Flame-bullet". This may be good in the short-term. But utter trash in the long-term. Let's not include the fact that the ability "Flame Control(To control surrounding flames" or "Flame Affinity(No particular flame base. But can shape their flames more easier)". Just the fact with enough practice, someone can train "Fireball" to "Flame-bullet".

Now, back to the main protagonist of this story. Mo Ji. He was born with a set of three. 1) Harness - Having the ability to take in surrounding particles and pick the most suitable ability to him. (Basically, as long as a magic user passed by before. He can harness that particular magic user's power. But only to the magic that is the most suitable with him. And it's based off his body situation, so he 100% decide the ability. Unless of course his heavily injured, then the ability would be healing-related.)

2) Mimicry, this is more of a lamer version of Harness and can only be used in conjunction with Copy - This allows Mo Ji to mimic a ability with his current ability. For example if he wants to use fireball and he has the water ability, he can do two things. 1) Use waterball instead. 2) Forcefully burn 100x more mana to burn his water into fire. (The mana cost changes depending on the elemental conversion.)

3. Copy - Allows Mo Ji to copy any ability he is in close proximity and having a visual eye on. Basically it's like harness, but the magic user must be nearby. (Note: In extremely rare chances. For example a person with god level shadow skill sneaked by, Mo Ji can use harness to obtain the skill. But is unable to Copy.)

How will Mo Ji fare in University? Would he become the greatest nerd? Or would the competition make him the greatest warrior?
