Mo Yang, can be said to be an immortal.
A few hundred thousand years ago, his lover was murdered by an immortal. Mo Yang, made a promise to find the immortal and kill him as an act of revenge.
90 years later, he got too old. At the brink of his death, he ate a immortal grass. One he acquired in the past. The Immortal Grass will bring his body back to it's peak state. And he shall remain in it.
1000 years later, he found the immortal. But the immortal was already half-dead...
The grass might grant immortality, but every feeling, pain from stubbing your toe, heartbreak will follow you throughout your immortal life. This will continously torture any Immortal until their mind is broken.
This is why all immortals have to meditate for their brain to adapt.
This started Mo Yang's journey to find true death. So he won't be a half-dead mind broken immortal.
But... As if heaven's was mocking him. He found out that reincarnation was possible. Every 1111 years a dead person will be reincarnated, and if met the most significant other (which would have been impossible) their memories will return.
For 100 years after finding his previous lover, Mo Yang was the happiest he has ever been.
The heartbreak that followed him was more devastating than the previous, and he had to meditate for many years to adapt.
This cycle continued countless times.
Until the previous cycle...
Mo Yang was still Mo Yang, but nearly a shell of his formerself. Adapting your mind to a higher level has its limits, and Mo Yang was hitting his. And his meditation after each heartbreak gradually increased. The timing has already hit 1111 years per meditation.
And it was then, his lover abandoned him after hundreds of thousands of years.
Back to the current present, Mo Yang is wearing a mask while gazing at his reincarnated lover.
What will he do?
