CHAPTER TWO

Although Sebastian felt like cursing at his master, in the end he is still a faithful and dedicated butler. He took the young child back to his room to take a quick bath and change his clothes since he has been in the piano room almost all morning and now, it is almost evening.

While changing his charge's clothes, Sebastian noticed the little one stretching his nose to take a sniff at his neck again, he couldn't help the smile that rose up on his lips which highlighted his flawless pale skin more.

Sebastian knows the little one is about to start his round of questioning again which is always amusing to him and everyone in the mansion and ever since this habit started in the little one, they have gotten used to it and now uses it as an everyday amusement.

"Sebby, why don't you sweat? Phoenix asked

Phoenix, the name he got after he arrived here meaning 'dark red' and also signifies the mystical bird that can arise from ashes after death and become a fighter. This is what his butler, Sebastian told him when he asked.

"Because, I was made this way" Sebastian said gently while preparing the little one's bed after changing his clothes so he can come straight to sleep after eating and taking a little walk for digestion.

"Made this way? Are you not human?"

Seeing him come to this conclusion, Sebastian smiled at his amazing intelligence at this age, "yes master, I am not human."

Hearing this answer, phoenix was not afraid but asked another question, "oh, then what are you?"

"I am a vampire" Sebastian answered and immediately changed the topic when he saw the little one opening his lips for another round of questioning, "young master, we stipulated that only three questions can be asked in a day"

Phoenix became embarrassed as he was caught but, he definitely won't admit it! I know"

Seeing the red blush appearing on the little one's cheek while he was denying his attempt to have his curiosity filled, Sebastian's lips twitched a little while also amazed at the fast growth of his young master's emotional intelligence which is nothing like he researched about in human children.

Vampire children are born with their higher intelligences and just needs their body to grow to adulthood which is not the same for human children which their intelligence and emotional intelligence grows along with their body.

Vampire can give birth but the number of natural birthed vampires is extremely low and these natural birthed vampires are protected and if their powers is amazingly strong, becomes their king.

The reason why Vampiric birth are extremely rare is because vampires cannot give birth within themselves and needs human female but the number of human females that is compatible to them is even rarer and even if found, at the end, the mother would never live to see the sun because the Vampiric child, tears its way out of her.

The other reason is that the shadow hunter secret organisation won't allow it and would try to take away the female and if they do not succeed, they find ways kill the female.

Thinking of all these, a blood light flashed across Sebastian's eyes which indicates anger before returning to the usually calm red once more.

He smiled gently again while bowing down to have the child climb up on him so he could carry him to the dinning table which is down the stairs.
