Chapter Sixteen

Georgia spent the day writing speeches and answers to all the questions she thought anyone would ask. She'd also invested a lot of time convincing Tom, Steve and Anna they should do some of the talking. The boys especially were hard to convince and she had to draw a rosy picture of what appearing on TV would do for their popularity with the girls.

She would have liked to have more students involved, but there just wasn't time to organize them. She wanted kids who had been taught by Mrs. Dalrymple so they could speak to the value of her teaching. She got a call from the news people to comment on the announcement the deputy minister would be coming to the meeting. She hoped she'd made sense.

Nothing seemed to have changed because of the envelope she slipped under the door. It was sealed when Brad gave it to her, and she decided she didn't need to see its contents. She hoped she'd at least get a wink from the Inspector, but the RCMP had all gone off to the Dalrymples.
