Chapter Fifty-Three

Matthew argued with the talking heads who all had different theories about what was happening and how to stop it. The only thing Matthew knew for sure was he had started it by showing the video. Georgia had sent it to him with no explanation, but he watched the woman's murder, the riot and its aftermath. He was so outraged he put the segment on air immediately.

He hadn't counted on the violence of the response. In some areas, the First Nations had retreated behind armed barriers. In others, people surrounded army bases and threw trash and insults at the guards. There were riots in all the major cities as people reacted against the atrocity. Not to mention the people who just took any excuse to make trouble.
