"She kept saying 'He wouldn't die.' If she is as literal as you suggest, then we have to take her comment at face value. It can't be shock making her see things that aren't there, because she isn't wired to see anything but what is actually present. You saw the body. It had wounds all over it. I'm not sure, but I would think any one of those wounds would be enough to kill."

"So what are you suggesting?"

"I think it is too bad we burned the house so quickly. The doctors might have been interested in what Molloy's body had to tell us."

Red shook her head.

"Another thing I did wrong."

"It isn't a total loss. We still have the blood on her dress."

Red smacked her head and dashed back into the medical center. Trey followed a few steps behind. Red stood at the security counter talking rapidly into the phone. He waited for her to finish.
