Chapter 135: Morris Pratt (1820-1902 CE)

The Wizard

During the middle of the 1800s, many magical arts became known to the mundane world under the guise of spiritualism. This included such abilities (and their associated spells, charms, and enchantments) as telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, prophecy, teleportation of people, apparation of objects, materialization and dematerialization, levitation, and out-of-body experiences (OOBE).

Morris Pratt was born to mundane parents in 1820 in Madison County, New York. He started a successful farm when he moved to Wisconsin in 1850. After visiting the Lake Mills Spiritualist Center in 1851, Pratt became an ardent spiritualist believing in séances, spirit knockings, mediums, and trances.
