Snow.

Alex was later taken away by Sean to one of the guest rooms to rest. They sat down again this time all eyes on Justin.

"Do you still have more questions?" he asked feeling that they wanted to say something.

Rose finally said, " I know you want to have a better life and I won't oppose it but I need to trust you to fully allow you into our lives "

"Am willing to do anything to earn that trust " Justin said.

"I need to know what your father is really up to, " Arthur asked.

Justin fell silent before he answered.

"He just wants money to revive the company of his late wife. He used to keep an eye on Rose and Ralph but with time stopped. But when the company faced a crisis and he found out that Rose had married a billionaire he decided to use that as his escape route"

"But I refused to help him and Arthur won't either," Rose said

"He seemed to have another plan, I heard him talk to someone on the phone about how he had got what they had been searching for. And I later discovered he was talking about me, Rose and Ralph"

"And what exactly does he plan to do with us?"

Justin looked up, meeting his eye with Rose, and said, " I don't really know but as I know our father it's always about him and the money "

They tried to think of what he meant but failed to come up with anything. Richard was a crazy man who could do anything for money even betray his flesh and blood.

"Did he know you were coming here today?"

Justin shook his head, "No I told him I was going to shop for some Christmas shopping and having lunch with my friends "

"For now just keep being by his side and playing along. Tell us everything he does and what his plans are, then we will find out what he wants and all his plans " Arthur suggested.

Justin agreed to all their instructions.

"Little Arthur was outside playing with one of the maids in the snow.

Irene grabbed Rose's hand and led her outside, joining the two in the snow.

Making snowballs they hit each other as they run in the snow. The men decided to only watch.

Little Arthur jumped up and down as he laughed, Rose made one huge snowball and threw it at the men.

" Don't tell me you're only going to watch?" She said.

Sean didn't wait and joined them, Arthur and Justin didn't move a bit. Rose came closer and pulled Arthur into the snow.

"Come on hubby, don't act bossy and join us " Arthur finally agreed and joined the fun.

"Join us, Justin " Rose shouted at the frozen figure that was still watching them.

Justin smiled and joined them, Rose hit him with a snowball starting a war. They all enjoyed themselves as they threw, fell, and played in the snow.

After minutes of having fun, the men collected snow and made a snowman, Little Arthur was carried by his father as he placed his nose and stick hands.

He was excited and happy that he clung to his father with joy.

Dorothy served them hot cocoa after they returned inside. She had been smiling all day long.

When she returned to the kitchen the maids were all smiles.

"I have never seen this home so lively before, it's been a good year," they said.

"It's been all possible because of Rose " Dorothy smiled.

All the maids agreed, since the day Rose stepped into Arthur's house, everything had changed.

His behavior, manners, habits, and everything around them. Rose had brought life to the house, his life, and everything around him.

Evening came and they all gathered in the theatre to watch Christmas movies. The men who enjoyed horror had to give in to watch romance for the ladies. Dinner was served to them as they watched their movies.

Alex and Ralph watched only three movies and left for bed, Justin left after the fifth.

"I want to thank you for giving me such beautiful memories and I promise to do my part of the deal," he said.

" Am glad you had fun, be careful with father and keep us updated" Rose said.

Justin wanted to ask for a hug but shut the thought away and left with a smile.

They went back to the theater and joined Sean and Irene. Rose feeling happy decided to take a sip of champagne from Arthur's glass. Being in the dark no one noticed it. She kept taking stolen sips and shortly she started giggling.

"Why are you happy when it's a sad scene, Rose? " Irene asked

But no reply came back, Rose continued her giggling. Arthur looked at her side and realized she had taken the whole bottle from the ice & was drinking it in the dark.

"ROSE.?!..what are you doing? " Arthur pulled away the bottle.

She frowned but let him take it away, Arthur wanted to tell the others she was drunk but had no time to say it. Rose had pulled him down, landing him on top of her.

"What are you doing, let me go " Arthur whispered.

"Let's make Christmas babies for Arthur" She whispered.

Arthur tried pulling himself free but Rose won't let go of his shirt.

Irene and Sean fell silent as they watched them act weird in front of them. Having taken the front seats they were the center of attention.

She easily moved her legs, trapping him as she pulled him further down to kiss his lips. He could hear the smell of alcohol from her breath.

Their lips brushed each other, being impatient Rose pulled his lower lip into her mouth giving him a bite.

"Ouch...! " Arthur exclaimed

But instead of letting him go, Rose moaned instead when Arthur tried to free himself.

She jerked him down until she felt him close, sealing the space with a kiss.

"Guys we are trying to watch the movie here " Sean complained.

But no response came back from the others only the sound of them kissing.

Arthur who had wanted to stop Rose, ended up being swayed by her. He forgot about the others in the room.

"He promised on his wedding day not to do that in front of me again but....." Sean frowned as he got up from his seat.

Irene followed him out giggling at his reaction. She closed the door leaving the crazy couple inside alone.
