Chapter 96: Revolutions Part 1

Leah had just managed to drift off when she was jolted awake by the most shrieking, earsplitting noise. She scooted to her private entrance muttering to herself.

“Wake the effing dead!”

One of the guards stationed at the main entrance, raced up to her and promptly, but politely ordered her to stay inside as they were running a drill for training purposes, though it would be over soon. She thought it strange, but left it at that.

Now the adrenaline had her awake, the cogs of her mind began to shift into gear.

At last, she had met Cemel in the flesh. Wisps of memories formed as they talked. He seemed to like her, but his mannerisms were quirky, he seemed almost impatient, even brusque toward her, and his visit was short. Bit different compared to his lengthy pep talk during the vision. Nevertheless, he was right about Kalvich. She had a lot of support and love there.
