He was even tempted to contact Kalvich for help, perhaps combining forces they could eradicate them. His pride, would not allow it.
Evan, who regarded himself as a true Palarian, made sure suspicions would not be aroused regarding his immortality. He had planned to slowly appear to grow old and die. He would regenerate himself in a new disguise and name, and carry on his quest to build up the Palarians. Luckily the Palarians, like the Trimadians grew to a ripe old age of several hundred years old before they died.
Through time, Evans budding collection of intelligence via his spy network reported back Kalvichs vast and intense growing forces and fortunes. The only thing that grew for Evan was obsessive jealousy.
