Leah was making a bee line to the auditorium when Sini appeared out of nowhere, her expression was ice cold.

“What!” her mistress stated exasperated.

Sini had abandoned her usual polite mannerisms and failed to do the mandatory curtsy, not even caring that Leah had no escort.“There is an urgent matter that I need to address with you.”

“Can’t it wait, I am due to…”

“It cannot wait…”

Sini grabbed Leah’s wrist and pulled her beside one of the torches and glanced up and down the corridor.

She lowered her voice, “I saw you inside the infirmary.”

“So?”

“Your behavior was most inappropriate with a certain Master…do you want me to spell it out my lady?”

Leah scowled at her.

Sini’s face was grave, “It will be his blood on your hands, walk away while it is not too late.”

Leah’s mind was in an uproar. She did not have time for this, yet Sini was ultimately loyal to Kalvich, and would report this. Leah had to deal with this carefully.
