Chapter 266: Secret Weapon Part 1
Blake and Geoff Simmons were driving down the same road Blake had taken a few hours earlier. They were using Simmons 2004 Audi. Its sleek leather interior and almost noiseless hum from the 2.5 litre engine compared to Blakes chunky Premier was amazing. But engines were the fartherest subject from Blakes over revving mind. The story Simmons had told him about this Queen Leah, an evil race called the Cathexistomes who ensnared humanoid hosts and called themselves Trimadians and their leader, an immortal being called Kalvich, was so incredible it had to be true. A story like that could not be made up on the spot. Yes, maybe this Simmons was not insane.
Both men were locked in their own world of thoughts. However, what they shared in common was Clair.
They reached the cul de sac and the cows were, of course, lazily eating the grass staring at the newcomers. Blake was thankful for having company so he could actually verify to himself he was not totally warped in his mind.
