She did not have long to wait as the seven foot muscular immortal, dressed in his intimidating black and gold uniform strode toward her. His handsome face so familiar, but the eyes held anger beyond madness. His mind a block of stone.

They stood opposite each other, silently appraising each other.

She curtsied momentarily and disarmingly said softly, “I guess you have been looking for me.”

He continued to stare with dark foreboding eyes at her, his mind solidly blocked to any hint of his feelings, except a sense of rising animosity.

Leah’s stomach bore butterflies as she realized maybe she had made a big mistake. She was up against the master of supernatural craft and powers. Why was it when she was away from him, she felt brave, confident and fearless, yet in his presense she damn lowly and intimidated? Was it her self-esteem? Or the fact she really needed professional lessons in learning her powers.
