Chapter 360: Sacrifice or the Sword Part 1
Leah reflected she would never be free from the Trimadians world, nor from all the other characters she had met on her journey, immortals and mortals whom were supposedly looking out for her.
In all essence her destination was incarceration. Ironically, what she symbolised, her immortality and unique powers created a prison that would never give her true freedom. She knew this, but it was hitting home now. She either accepted it, or rebelled against it. There would be no compromise.
This so called quest to Katophia and destroying the sword now appeared lame. Edith had not bothered to contact her. Perhaps it was unsafe. Perhaps she had washed her hands of her for handing the sword back to Kalvich.
The game changer was her pregnancy and the consequences. Carrying Kalvichs child she had someone else besides herself to consider. It seemed likely that vision of the baby in her arms was her very own child in this timeline.
