Chapter 37: Archer

Archer entered the bridge at a dead run, but pulled up short at the sight of Miguel lounging in the captain's chair.

"Our ship, our choice of captain," the skinny twin said. "And you do not get my vote." He smirked at Archer.

"Can you fly?" Archer calmed himself, breath recovered. He had no time to deal with the mutinous Miguel, but this confrontation had been brewing for a while and he needed to handle it.

Miguel shrugged. "I can command. You can fly. No one said you could have our ship." Before Archer could react, Manuel stepped up.

"Allow me," he said to the spacer before turning to Miguel. Instead of arguing with him, the bigger twin simply hefted his brother from the captain's chair and carried him to another.

"Be good," Manuel said as Miguel hit the solid seat with a thump.

"You're no fun," the boy sniveled, but he slumped at the empty station and made no further moves.
