ZhiYi didn't wait to be ordered twice, as he hurried past TianLan, with a bounce to his steps as if he wanted to be rid of the prince as quickly as possible.
Wu TianLan wouldn't mind it in any other circumstances, since he was in a hurry himself to get out of this forest, that seemed to think of him as a prey, or at least a straw doll they could drag across the dirt and strung up in the air. But he couldn't walk so fast, and with the mist curling and coiling about, he would lose sight of ZhiYi sooner or later. There was no other way around it, TianLan thought as he glanced down at his sash. Looking back up, he called,
"Zh- Brother ZhiYi, wait!"
ZhiYi stopped in his tracks before the edge of the clearing where TianLan had hidden a moment before and glanced back at him, but remained silent.
