I stumbled as she let me go on the other side, her part satisfied with our return. Cadence stood next to Ghola, staring down at her with an oddly annoyed expression though when my angel sister looked up and met my eyes, she seemed as concerned as Seth. She ran to me, hugged me. Her aura bubbled, anxious and afraid and I ignored her reaction to the little monster in favor of grasping Cadence by both upper arms. I forced her back, staring into her eyes while I made my demand.
