Shattered Remnants of a Dream

Life went by quickly over the next three days. Vance, Cliff and Eden spent their days in relaxation, exploring all the things that Ieon City had to offer. Vance joined them at first, but soon grew tired of Cliff's pining over Eden and chose to spend the rest of his vacation in solitude. 


And so, Cliff and Eden went on an extended date. He took her around the city, on a boat ride in a nearby lake, and they did a fair share of shopping together. It was a dreamlike period that allowed them to both momentarily forget the monumental task that stood before them.
