4 years ago, Vance's mother went missing. Everyone thought she was dead...but Vance knew better. Shattered Remnants of a Dream

Vance, Eden, Cliff, and Azuka stood on a hill overlooking a flat, barren expanse surrounded by nothing but gnarled mountains. Some rock formations looked as if they had been ripped apart, and others cleaved by some unseen force.


Vance struggled with an unseen weight that had fallen on his shoulders. "Where are we?"


Azuka turned to face her students. "Sagacia. This dimension has a rather colorful history. You see, the scientists who once inhabited this planet injected so much energy and mass into it that they ended up completely changing its gravitational field."


Struggling to stay on his feet, Vance glanced over at Eden. She grimaced as she stood strong, steadying herself with psynergy.


Azuka chuckled and continued. "You'll get used to it after a few weeks. And then when we return to places like Earth and Elysiana, you'll be able to move much faster than before."


Chapter 62: Eyes of the Abyss
