One does not simply walk up to a castle door and knock. Entry is by invitation only. However, servants come and go through back entrances throughout the day. Watching from a distance, they spotted a trio of stable men leaving for supplies, who were bundled in cloaks and scarves to the point you could not see their faces. Roy, Katreena, and Zapel followed them into the market and confronted them.
"Gentleman?" Roy started as they cornered the men in an alley. "Can we interest you in the opportunity to make some coin?"
"We have an employer," the short one said.
"Yes, we know. That is what puts you in the position to earn a little more."
"Speak quickly," the tall one said, "We do not have time to waste."
"Three coins for the truth. Is your King as mad as they say?" Roy was hoping to get a rise out of the loyal servants. Angry men often spout more information than they should when defending someone's honor.
