My new life

The lady was stunned for a moment and then her expression changed to a worried one.

"Doctor!"

A man wearing white came in quickly to the room with two nurses.

"I think there is something wrong with Mijail, he asked who I am" the lady was sad and worried.

The doctor looked at her and then looked at Mijail with a complicated face. He checked his eyes and his sensorial reactions. After some exams, the doctor sighed.

"He seems to lost a lot of blood giving birth to amnesia, time will be the only thing that tells us if he recovers all his memories. During that period, your family and you must treat him with patience" that was all the doctor could do for Mijail.

The lady nodded and looked at his pale son, who was slowly recovering his usual color. Mijail was confused, he knew he died in the hospital after the car accident he was involved in, but now he was laying in a comfortable bed in a different hospital and a strange lady was taking care of him like he was her family.

Two days passed quickly after the bleeding incident, and Mijail was able to leave the hospital.

During those days he learned that the lady who was with him all the time was his mother and her name was 'Kate'. He was now a freshman who was studying biology at the Private University of Syre. His 'new' family was made up of his father, his mother, two older twin brothers, and a younger sister. His father was working as the Service Manager at the richest and most famous company 'The Lewis'. The company was owned by one of the most influential and rich families of the country and the world. His two brothers were working there too, one was in the marketing department and the other one in the information technology department.

His sister, Frieda, was in the first year of high school and she was interested in Arts.

It was a lot of information to digest, in his other life he was an only child, and both his parents worked. In this new life, his father got a very good job and his mother was a housewife. Also, he was studying biology! However, the world he was living in now, was a bit different from the one he left. The countries were named different and the flora and fauna were more diverse with creatures he thought were only myths.

Finally, his mother and he arrived at a big house, bigger than the one he lived in, but he was told that these houses were of regular size in that country. Another thing was that they were opened mind with relationships. One of his brothers, Hackett, was dating a man while his twin, Heller, was dating a woman. After some questions and answers with his mother, he was relieved to know that he never dated someone, also he was a bit sad that in this parallel world, he was single, too.

Mijail opened the car door and walked to the house with the support of his mother. When he was lifting his hand to knock the door, it suddenly opened and a beautiful child-like face of a girl popped out with a bright smile.

"Hackett! Heller! Mijail is back!" Frieda was happy, but her eyes showed signs of worrisome.

"Mijail!" Hackett hugged him.

"It's good to see you standing by yourself" Heller calmly smiled.

Mijail simply smiled back. He saw that all his family was eye-catching, and he was wondering what his looks were like. During his time in the hospital, he never asked or was given a mirror to see his appearance. The doctor told his mother that it was better to wait for him to return to his house and have the support of his family by showing photos where he was. This method could help him associate his face with his daily activities and help him recover his memories.

Frieda gave him a mirror and Mijail saw a light brown-haired young man with beautiful green-forest eyes. His face was handsome but just slightly above the average.

At 9:00 pm, his father arrived from work and greater his son Mijail.

His parents discussed letting Mijail return to school considering his actual situation. After an hour passed, his mother finally agreed to let him return, just that she would accompany him and explain his situation to his tutor.

The next day, Mijail went to his tutor's office with his mother.

"Good morning, Miss Smith. I came today to explain what happened two days ago with Mijail" his mother began to talk with the teacher "The doctor diagnosed him with Bleeding Syndrome, he told us that he was lucky to be sent to the hospital in time and be alive and he has amnesia too. He also told us that it might happen again, so we would appreciate for you helping us to look for him during his time in the school" his mother was very worried that it would happen again and that Mijail could die.

"I understand your concern, so I'll help with all that is on my hands" Miss Smith replied sincerely.

After some exchange of words, his mother bade farewell and left.

"Well Mijail, you can return to your class. I called your friend Aetos Flippers to take you to your classroom" Miss Smith told him with a serious face while continue checking the papers that were on her desk.

Knock knock!

"Come in"

A young black-haired man came in and looked immediately at Mijail with a face full of worrisome.

"Nice to see you again Mijail" Aetos greeted him.

Mijail looked back at him and just nodded.

They left Miss Smith's office and went to the classroom B. While they were walking in the corridor, Mijail suddenly stumbled against someone's back. When Mijail lifted up his gaze, he met a pair of beautiful deep blue eyes and a head full of white hair.

"Sorry" Mijail apologized.

The young white-haired man looked at him and left.

"Who is him?" Mijail asked Aetos with a confused look.

"He is the heir of 'The Lewis' company, Kenneth Lewis" Aetos answered him frankly.
