Okay, so the thought had crossed my mind, too, but I wasn't about to accuse Pamela's niece of murder, quite to the contrary. I had been hoping to question her before anyone brought up the fight, though of course my own personal needs had gotten in the way. Not feeling guilty about it or anything, especially when Robert took that as his signal to hustle forward with cuffs in hand, roughly jerking Sarah's arms behind her back to the sickening snick of the bracelets sliding home.

"I've heard enough," he said as if a single accusation was sufficient to make her a murderer. Sarah tried to protest but I knew better than to fight my cousin when he had that look on his face. "You're coming to the office for questioning."
