Sigh

Chapter 18

Getting up and going to school just to take a test in the 1st period is annoying. I furrowed my eyebrows, sigh, oh wait, this one is B.

After the test, I smiled, it wasn't that hard, I think I aced it.

Mark walked out smiling, "I think I aced it."

I gave him a high five, "Yeah man, me too, thanks for studying with me."

Mark grinned, "See you after class, man."

I nodded, "See you later, Mark."

I made my way to the 2nd period. Alex suddenly walked up behind me.

Sliding his hands over my eyes, "Guess who?"

I sighed, "Alex, move, I need to get to class." I pulled his hands away from my eyes and made my way down the hall.

Alex walked next to me, I sighed, "Are you following me or actually going this way."

Alex grinned, "I'm actually going this way, so we're going to be walking together from now on."

I shrugged, "Okay, my classroom is right here, see you later." I entered the classroom.

After the class was finished I walked to the club quickly just to check-in with them.

I opened the door to the club and saw a new person there, "Who is this?"

The new guy turned toward me, "Hello, my name is Darius Walter, I'm new here and wanted to see if I should join any of the clubs here."

I smiled, "Hello Darius, your looking for clubs to join? What do you think of the Martial Arts Club so far?"

Darius shrugged, "It is nice, but I don't think this is for me. Maybe next year."

I nodded, "If your sure, the club will always be here."

I left a few minutes after him, then I remembered, I have a French test, wait no, I don't need to worry, I have already studied for it.

Biology is fun, I love learning about it, it just fascinates me.

When I was taking the French test, I made sure to go over every answer six times, because I'm extra like that and also because I had a lot of extra time. Usually, if it is easy, I either failed most of it or actually got it correct. Yes, I'm that kind of person.

PE went the same as it always did, I changed in the bathroom and the attended class.

When I got to the Martial Arts Club, my phone rang, it was Adam, I picked it up, "Hello, Avery."

Adam sighed, "Hello Adam, I need to tell you something."

I nodded, "Yeah, what is it?"

Adam sighed again, "My parents found out I have a roommate."

I paused, walking out the Martial Arts clubroom door, "Wait, what? How? Is it going to be a problem?"

Adam said, "Probably not, but just in case I'm telling you now. They might request to meet you or something."

I sighed, "Okay, thanks for telling me Adam, bye."

Adam said, "Bye." Then he hung up.

I sighed, would they really ask to meet me? What will happen if they saw me? Sigh, whatever, if it happens then it happens.

I walked back into the club.

Alex walked up to me, "What was that about? You just walked out of the club right after you walked in."

I shrugged, "Avery called, family matter, it is fine now."

Alex nodded, "Alright if you say so, how was your day?"

I said, "It has been okay, I think I aced every test I took. What about you, how has your day been?"

Alex grinned, "I have decided, that I don't care whether you're a boy or girl, you're my friend and that is what you will be no matter your gender."

I smiled, "Thanks, you're my friend too."

Shane walked up to me a few minutes later, "Adam, how did your test go?"

I smiled, "I think I aced it, what about you, how did it go?"

Shane sighed, "I think I got at least a C on it, thanks to studying with you, I might have passed."

I said, "If you need any help ask, it is better than just leaving it there because it will just get harder and harder."

Shane nodded, "Thanks for the advice, man, I will."

I nodded, "Good."

I looked at the clock, almost 4. Wow, time sure does fly by fast.

I spent the remaining time practicing with Alex.

By the time Thomas arrived, I was sore everywhere, ow, I won 4 out of 6 matches. Not bad for continuous fighting.

When I got home, Adam grabbed me, "My parents want to meet you."

I mumbled, "Great. Now, what do we do."

Adam continued, "They want to meet you in person, so we will be going on the nearest school break there is. So on, November 25. Oh, and they will pay for your plane ticket because your broke, and they are the ones who want to meet you."

I nodded, "Okay. wait, what happens when they see me? How will you explain my face?"

Adam shrugged, "I'll just say I saw a person who looked just like me and wanted to be her friend."

I shrugged, meh, could have been a worse explanation.

That night I took a shower, then I read for a bit, sighing I thought about Adam's family, wait...I can't think about them because I know nothing about them!

I sighed, I'll ask Adam in the morning.

And thus, ended my day.
