Computer science professor Eric Gordon has to find the hacker responsible for a virus on campus. When his investigations show some sort of reptile may be living in the steam tunnels under campus, he turns to biology professor Lori Tremain for help. 

Lori’s life is crazy with her tenure review looming, but she’s too curious and way too attracted to turn down Eric’s request. "Does Zimmerman have to be awake when they perform the spell?" Wesley asked Drake curiously. 


Lori was glad to see Wes unconsciously reach for Ben's hand, as he finished tying Jason Zimmerman up with his braided leather belt. Dave had taken care of the man's ankles with his belt of olive green nylon.


"Unfortunately," Drake replied soberly.


"You know," Eric began speculatively. "We've got this guy on a lot more than cybercrime now. If we arrange things right, we can get him busted for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, maybe even attempted murder."


"But we can't let the cops know about this cave," Lori pointed out.


"How about the janitor's closet?" Wesley suggested. "We can set up the computer there and make it look like it was his hideout."
