I lashed out with all the strength I had, the net the other sorcerers created altered from the original trap they'd used before. Modified to keep me from escaping this time, to prevent me from defeating them by relaxing into the web that only drew tighter as I battled against it. They'd failed to realize, however, my sorcery sipped at a form of power they hadn't expected, and not so long ago. Power that I used to burn through the edges of the trap while my black sorcery pounced.
