War had come and gone, something the normals called the Great War, though I knew their history and was well aware fighting among themselves was a way of being for them. Most of the covens stayed out of the battles and did their best to avoid conflict or being drawn into the mess, though it was rumored the European Council had pitched in to help.

It ended, as wars do, with one side victorious, though we paid little mind. It was, however, followed by a decade of absolute decadence, and, thanks to Lilibeth's penchant for partying, the younger members of the family soon convinced Burdie to relocate the family yet again, this time to just outside Boston.
