Chapter 2: About this world

The man has now taken over the shape of that kid who had fallen down from the cliff.

"From now on, I am Michio" The little kid (man)said with an evil smile

"Alright, time to read his memory and see what this world can offer me," Michio said to himself as he tried to read his memory

The man has not just taken the skin of Michio but also his memories. This way he can live a new life with a new face.

From reading his memory, Michio (we will call him with this name now) got to know that this world also has mana in it and people can use mana to perform various magic

Though Michio can't perform magic as he still doesn't have his heart back, which will start building up with time and he might be able to use his own mana/magic spells, but for now, he cant

As for the boys past, his full name is Hata Michio, the youngest son of the Hata family which is of the noble family in this kingdom.

Also, he can't use magic, this leads others to look down on him and eventually, he was bullied by others

In this world, there is a big difference between Mana User's (magicians) and Fighters, and also between Nobles and commoners

As for the ranking between Mana users and Non-Mana users:-

Mana User's

Magician

-Rank 1 = can perform only small level magic

-Rank 2 = can cast more than 2 elements

-Rank 3 = highly skilled in one element

Wizard

-Rank 1 = Can cast any skill on multiple people

-Rank 2 = highly skilled in 2 elements

-Rank 3 = Can control those 2 elements however they desire

Mage

-Rank 1 = Can freely control all basic 4 elements (earth, wind, water, and fire)

-Rank 2 = Can blend in his skilled element

-Rank 3 = have one special skill different from all other magicians

Non -Mana User's

Fighter

-Rank 1 - Simple fighter

-Rank 2 - Trained and experienced fighter

-Rank 3 - Has at least one skill

Martial Artist

-Rank 1 = have completed more than 200 missions (which means he should be highly experienced)

-Rank 2 = have more than 1 combat skill

-Rank 3 = have completed at more than 5 A-class mission

Master

-Rank 1 = Have one combat spirit

-Rank 2 = Complete one S class mission

-Rank 3 = Complete 2 'S' class mission or defeat one Ranked 2 or 3 mage

Also, the world has various species; especially spirits which can help people who can't use mana to use mana by letting them borrow their own mana.

"Spirits, huh" Michio was really attracted towards this particular race, as it could help him recover his body faster if he could use magic as his body doesn't have any mana in it

And yeah, there are 2 types of Spirits, one is combat spirit of animals/beasts and other is of element basted spirits which can use mana

As for how does Michio has all this knowledge, don't forget he is noble, so gathering information is no big deal

Michio (don't forget it's not real Michio, as he is dead) takes a look around and then up at the mountain, from where he fell and then he thought 'Should I go back to his family or just roam around?'

For a few minutes, Michio stayed silent and then finally made a decision to go home.

At Hata Residence or mansion

"Are you saying truth Jiro?"

"Yes, father, Michio jumped from the cliff and before he jumped, he said 'I don't want to stain my family's honor'"

Jiro, the eldest son of Hata Family said to his father who was in front of him with eyes full of tears. But we all know the real truth

Hata Izanagi (father) and Hata Minori (Mother) both cried together.

Minori with a face full of tears cried out loudly

*door opens*

The Halls door opens up and a girl enters. She is Hata Sayuri, daughter of this Hata family.

Seeing her parents and brother crying, she asks "What happened?"

"Sayuri, your little brother *crying*" Mother tried to say but couldn't bring her words

"What about Michio?" Sayuri asks again

Jiro stands up from the floor (he was on his knees in front of his mom and dad) and walks towards Sayuri

And then he took a long breath and said "Don't be sad. Michio committed suicide"

Jiro said to Sayuri

Sayuri stayed silent for a while and then said "Then who was the one I saw outside our house?"

"What?"

Both parents and Jiro were shocked to hear this and said the same thing in unison

Suddenly a person appears from behind the door and he really looked very familiar to the whole family

"Hello big brother and my dear family," Michio said as he entered the hall with a big smile on his face, which looked very weird.

"You, HOW? Didn't you die?" Jiro said with a shocked expression

"Huh? I am dead? *looking at himself* I didn't know that I am dead" Michio said to his big brother
