Unbounding Despair

There are only two kinds of people in this world: the one who becomes the legacy, and the one who is forgotten.

The ones who become the legacies already have their destinies laid out. Those are the ones who make friends. Those are the ones that win at everything they do. Those are the ones who find happiness and start their own lineages. Those are the ones who shine in this dark world.

The ones who who are forgotten are cast aside from society into the darkest corners of the hall of judgement. Those are the ones who are shunned. Those are the ones who always seem to fall short. Those are the ones who will never find happiness. Those are the ones who are left to rot in the gargantuan pits of hell.

The legacies have it all. The forgottens have nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

Who am I supposed to be?

What am I supposed to be?

When am I supposed to be?

Forgottens were born into this world with curses that originated from the divine world. Or could it be that the anti-divine brought his kiss of death down upon us?

Were we born like this? Are we not able to change our destinies?

Why are we here? Was this a cruel joke by the man himself?

Was I always going to be a loser?

A black hole opens up in the shadows of the shadows. The hole begins to obliterate everything in the area.

Dark silhouettes were picked up from the ground and sent to their dark and gloomy destiny.

Was this what I was meant to ask myself?

Am I meant to end it?

Was my very existence a cruel joke?

Am I meant to end it?

Was I destined to be a total failure?

Am I meant to end it?

Was there no hope left for my darkened soul?

Am I meant to end it?

Was I responsible for that incident?

Am I meant to end it?

Everything goes to black.

Something walks in the shadows.

Or, is it a shadow?

He surveys the area, checking for any remaining survivors or the powerful storm of despair.

So much despair.

Extreme despair.

Powerful despair.

The shadow stops. The shadow locks eyes with me. The shadow freezes me in time.

The shadow wonders why I'm still here. The shadow enters deep thought.

The shadow begins to laugh.

The shadow laughs.

The shadow cackles.

The shadow tells me that I don't have much time left.

The shadow tells me that I still have hope.

The shadow tells me that I have met hope.

The shadow tells me that I will rise.

The shadow tells me that I will fall.

The shadow tells me that I will conquer my darkness.

The shadow tells me that I will be left by fate.

The shadow tells me that I will always have the same destiny.

The shadow tells me that we will meet again soon.

I was suddenly unfrozen, and I begin a free fall.

I rushed through the black air. I wasn't able to see the ground.

I wasn't yet able to see my destiny.

I hear a whisper in my ear.

Welcome to hell.

.

I wake up.

I turned my alarm off, and I rose up to begin my day.

I turned to the mirror.

I was unexplainably crying.

.

A girl sits by her window, doing the daily chore of homework.

The girl with long blonde hair drops her pencil.

The girl with extravagantly blue eyes rose up to look out of her window.

The girl was unexplainably crying.

.

Taiki looks out of her classroom window, full of worry.

Nozomu continued to remain out of sight.

I never showed up to school that day.
