"Ya, ya. Ve play another," shouted Charles over his shoulder as he walked outside, enjoying the fresh air.
The small waves lapped at his feet as he relieved himself. It felt good to be standing, especially after sitting cramped on a small hard wooden chair for a couple of hours. He thought about the money he'd lost, it was a significant amount. If he went back inside to play more, then he could risk losing everything and the thought of explaining to his wife what he'd done was not pleasant. Walking away now was the sensible thing to do. With a grimace, Charles buttoned himself up and decided to end this now and go home. He'd go back inside, say goodnight and leave while he still had some dignity and some money. He'd find another way to get back at Barrett.
