Chapter 107

The Featherston's house was considerably closer to the cemetery than their own home and Eleanor and Andrew had spent a restless night as their guests, listening to Isaac and Bethia's tearful arguments. As Isaac faced the harsh realities of his decision at the cemetery, Eleanor was consoling his distraught wife. As the dawn's first rays began to lighten the room, Bethia sobbed, fearful she'd never see her husband alive again.

"I told him his temper would get the better of him one day," said Bethia between sobs. "He insisted that because he was morally right, then it was perfectly acceptable to write about it."

"Maybe one of them has changed his mind and Isaac and Andy will come striding in through the door without a care in the world laughing about it." Eleanor offered with some hope.
