Chapter 6: A different plan

Alex P.O.V

It's been four days since I told Axel I'm an angel. He's been trying to get close to me, but I've been avoiding him.

My main job right now is to kill him, but... I'm having trouble with it. But today I've got a plan!

I closed my eyes and kissed him back.

After a while, he broke away and got up.

"Next time, I wish you better luck..."

I got up and hugged him.

"I don't wanna do this, but it's my job."

"Yeah, I understand, but that doesn't mean you can ever have a chance at killing me anyways." He chuckled.

He left without saying another word.

I felt horrible as if he never wanted to talk to me again, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't want to talk to me either.

I went back to school to see Axel heading to football practice.

"Axel... Wait." I said before grabbing his hand.

"Let's fix this and let's run away together. "

I said, looking away.

"Only if it's what you want." He said, placing a kiss onto my lips.

"Then Tonight, we pack up and head out."

I felt happy we could escape all this. Our mom's wanted us to kill each other, and the high angel council would not be thrilled that I'm dating a demon.

6:30 pm

My parents are out for dinner, so I packed all my stuff and waited outside. Shortly after, Axel pulled up, and I put my things in the trunk and backseat.

"You ready for this?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go to the place we picked out," I said, getting in the car.

We picked out a cabin out in the middle of the woods. We wanted to find a place where we can be hidden and alone.

After a 3 hour drive, we finally arrived.

I got out and stretched my legs.

Axel came up behind me and pulled me close. "Nobody can find us here." I smiled, allowing his warmth to take me over.

"Let's get in so I can clean up."

We went in, and the place was filthy, a lightbulb was smashed on the ground, and there was dirt everywhere!

My eyes turned golden, and I cast a spell of cleanliness, causing the cabin to start cleaning itself. The light bulb repaired mid-air and went back in turning on. The dust and dirt all went together and into the trash. And everything else went away, including old food and everything that was in the fridge, making it brand new.

"Damn, if only you had done my room before," Alex smirked, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Now. Let's get some groceries tomorrow. There's a town close by apparently." He nodded and picked me up.

"Let's try out the bed, shall we?" He whispered seductively as he carried me to the room.

When he got to the bed dropped me, and I got into a sexy position.

I took off my shirt as did he.
