Chapter Two Hundred And Eighty-seven: Ménage À Trois

Everybody avoided Asher as if he was the God of death, everyone knew he was in a bad mood today. They had all heard the news - courtesy of Dan. Not that he announced it willingly- they forced it out of his mouth anyway.

Asher stared at his mate sleeping on the bed with no worry and felt more frustrated. He was suddenly having this urge to claim her and leave Daniel to his problems. It wasn't his business that he… fine, this was his selfish side speaking.

Yet when Lia awakened, he let that selfishness take over.

Lia came around and was stunned to see herself in a different room - a familiar room. This was Asher's - oh. She gulped, Asher was seated on the edge of the bed, his green eyes boring into hers that made her heart skip a beat.

"Asher," She called yet got no response. Her heart was slamming against her chest and why was he staring at her that way? Did she do something wrong?
