Centerville conclusion

William and the group under his control approached the first demon camp, the wall around the demon camp was made with cars rolled over to their side and supported with anything they could find.

The wall was much more improvised and even childish when compared to the one they had in their own camp and seeing it William couldn't help but sneer. Still underestimating the demons in the camp could be fatal so William didn't plan on going easy on them.

William cast his shield spell and a third circle barrier appeared around him, with spreading his wings William flew over the wall and shouted "JOIN US OR BE AGAINST US AND DIE" there was no need for more, and all the beasts/monsters poured into the camp.

There was resistance from the camp, but it was nowhere enough to stop William and his group that was compromised by almost 750 fighters.

The beasts overran the cars and were killing anyone who tried to fight back, William meanwhile was sending third circle spell on anyone strong who caught his attention, despite being in the third circle for quite some time William was nowhere near the fourth circle.

It was like he hit a wall, he just couldn't push through and reach the fourth circle and from what he got to know at the moon-platform it was a normal strength cap for the low rank demons that needs to be overcome with years of training or by absorbing the high phase center of power from some elemental beats, like the crystal core they obtained from the Kerberos beast.

Yes, from the Kerberos beast they obtained a mana crystal that was capable of regenerating its fourth circle mana, the mana regenerating crystal was beyond rare and from the thousands of beasts, they killed they only obtained a handful of those and those crystals were just in the first or second circle.

And sadly to increase his circle William needs to completely devour the crystal which will destroy it and to sacrifice the crystal when the heart would do is just wasteful, for this reason, William´s further progress was put on hold.

In the camp, there was a suspiciously big number of beasts, mainly those in the first circle but still… in fact, there were 5 beasts to 1 human and that was very different from their town where the ratio was at best 1,5:1.

And the reason for this quickly showed itself, strange demon or a beast person showed itself, the beast person was like a werewolf, long limbs, muscular body covered with long fur and mouth that was somewhere between a beast maw and humans mouth.

At first, the beast person put up a decent resistance and even overpowered a third phase beast that was nearby it but when two more third phase beasts joined the fray the beast person surrendered while crazily growling.

In the last angel camps, the two groups met and the last and most gruesome fight began, first Jordan used his spells to bore holes through the wall and then the mess began.

The humans that surrendered were forced to attack together with all the low phase beasts, the humans were mostly separated into three groups, the first group was the one that didn't want to fight and held back, this group was mostly left alone by Jordan´s troops, the second group was the one that decided to run to the angels, those humans were quite unsuccessful as anyone who tried to deflect was hunted down by the high phase beasts or by Jordan himself, and finally, the third group, the group of those that completely gave in, this group was naturally by far the smallest.

In the third group, there were the most realistic or the most desperate humans, those humans were the ones that decided to do everything they could to secure their future.

The humans from the third group were collecting weapons from the dead and then tried to kill off any injured defenders, those that managed to kill someone then literally brought the cut off the head to Jordan who then marked the humans by a bit of burning mana that worked as a tattoo or rather a stamp.

After looking over the battlefield Jordan went to William and asked him "anything interesting?" William answered "few books with spells and techniques, few crystals and resources but the main dish…" William pointed at the werewolf-like beast person who was currently literally disarming one angel, the angel was kneeling while holding it´s a stump and before he managed to do anything the beast person bit a huge chunk from the angel´s throat, silver-white blood poured from the wound on the throat, the angel struggled, tried to guide his positive energy towards the wound but it was all for nothing after few spasms the angel bleed out and died.

Jordan "looking good, and did you encounter any trouble?" William "well… there was one big demon over 4 meters (13ft), huge fangs no magic, we brought the body for research and besides that nothing unusual" Jordan "good job out there, let's take out the steaks tonight to celebrate" William "yeah sounds good" Jordan smirked and said to William "don't worry we will celebrate once again with Mary back home" William was bit embarrassed but that was all, as a good demon William wouldn't be thrown off by something minor like this.

William "well I won't reject party with Mary" Jordan "that´s good, some affection will do you good but do not forget that apocalypse is going on" William "hahaha sure, and how about you and Jane?"

Screams from all over the battlefield could be heard in the background as Jordan was thinking about his answer. Jordan "hmm, I know her feelings but I don't really like her all that much… after all, she is a human" hearing that William had to wonder and screamed in his head ´you were human as well!´ but he didn't say that out loud. Jordan "but some I guess I could give it a chance some sex would do me good, hah what about you two? Did you do the deed?" William was even a bit more embarrassed than before and answered "yeah… after the attack" Jordan "Congratulations! This needs a celebration! We will drink today"

The fight came to conclusion and all the humans from Centerville were either crying or laying on the ground dead tired. None of them were happy.

Previously there were about 10 000 people in Centerville in all those 5 camps and now the number was reduced to 3 500 people. About 150 people managed to pass and became citizens and about 400 people made it to become free the rest will be pushed to be forced workers.

Jordan was explaining the rules to them while those people barely listened but it didn't matter all that much to Jordan, he already achieved his purpose he conquered the town gained access to new resources such as the abandoned coal and iron mine that are located just a few kilometers away, with this they will finally have a stable supply of those two commodities and will be even able to mass-produce various weapons, but this will all have to wait until they manage to secure the way to the mine and somehow make the mine usable.

And one more thing that Jordan was satisfied with was the free humans and the citizens from this city, they will be the perfect scapegoat. The forced workers can´t really release their anger on Jordan as he is just too much above them and any slender is punished but they can release it on the citizens who betrayed them and sided with the enemy. Like that there will be some internal strife and possibly even some small rebellions but nothing Jordan and his subordinates cannot handle.

Overall the attack on Centerville was a success.
