Liu Qiao Qiao was invited to audition for the role of Ma Liyi a young socialite and the orchestrator of the killing game. To prepare for her role Liu Qiao Qiao took shooting lessons and boxing classes to get ripped for her role.

The audition was held at a studio in the art district of B city. It was a closed audition so everyone submitted an invitation at the entrance.

The studio was packed with a lot of notable actors and actresses, all vying for roles in one of next year's most anticipated dramas. The rumor was that the male lead was already decided but since no announcement was made a lot of actors auditioned for the role.

Among the contenders was Mu Renshu, new fresh meat in the industry. Mu Renshu was a very popular actor of late. He had his breakout role in a Wuxia movie the year before, even winning a rookie award for his role in the movie.
