A week flew by in the blink of an eye, everyone enjoying a relaxing vacation. That is, everyone but Nojiko.
Nami explored what the ruins of what use to be Shiki's base and found loads of treasure and berries, enough to make her more than happy for a long time.
Smoker didn't do anything but lounge around and drink, occasionally sparing with Tashigi every once in awhile.
Tashigi still trained daily, but took most of the day to explore with Nami and help the feathered people with building back their homes.
Luke spent his time playing with the animals, helping them to adapt to their new life.
Nojiko on the other hand was trained relentlessly by Jack for almost every waking moment of the day, getting full control of her Devil Fruit. Jack helped her in learning about it, then made her keep objects floating around her, even while she slept.
She had to keep giant boulders the size of mountains floating around her at all times, and move them around the island in patterns according to whatever Jack said to do.
By the end of the week, she had an extreme understanding of her power, and some combat uses as well. Jack showed her how to use her Will in conjunction with her power, to control a certain amount of water that she could use to drown people if she wanted to.
The same worked for the earth around them as well. She could control the earth to shape itself and make it wrap around people or straight up crush them. She was thankful that the week was over so she could get out of Jack's torture he called training, and back to having fun with Nami.
"Alright, let's set out!" Jack said one morning as everyone was eating breakfast. To everyone's surprise though, Jack didn't pull out the usual tiny ship. Instead he brought out The Black Pearl, in all her glory.
"Nojiko has enough control over her power that I trust we will be fine. With her power floating the Pearl, and my power boasting our speed, we should make it to the next island in no time!!" Jack said cheerfully as he jumped up to the deck. There were cheers from everyone as they all jumped on board the ship, waiting for lift off.
"We can train while travelling now!!" Tashigi said joyfully. "You're a buzzkill, you know that?" Luke said with a frown on his face. "You should try and have some fun more often instead of training, it's not healthy." Smoker added into the conversation.
"I'll try, but there isn't all that much to do." Tashigi replied back. Just then a hand fell on her shoulder, and Jack's voice rang out, "The Pearl has it all!! Take some time to get into a good book, relax in a nice hot bath with some wine, and if you're into the whole dress-up thing, Nami has mountains of clothes in one of the lower rooms."
Jack paused as Nami shot a glare his way, but it didn't stop his enthusiasm at all as he continued, "Also you could try fishing, swimming, and now that we will be flying properly, you could sit back and relax and take in the sights that not many people get to see in their whole lifetimes!" Jack was way too enthusiastic about the Pearl, but it still made everyone else smile.
Soon enough they were soaring through the sky at an amazing speed, but still not as fast as they would be if they were in the little tiny boat. Everyone went into the control room as they made their way towards an island called Whiskey Peak, waiting to see if Jack could make them go faster.
They all braced themselves as Jack unleashed his powers, creating a *BOOOM!!* as they shot forward like a rocket. Quickly lowering the amount of power he was releasing, Jack got the ship to be going a decently fast speed, while still having it be possible for everyone else to walk around the ship.
"Just keep us going in this direction, and I'll let ya know when to start descending." Jack told Nojiko before she and the other two girls went somewhere else on the ship. Luke walked outside and put a chair beside the railing so he could take in the sights. Smoker brought out a chair of his own, but instead of taking in the sights, he fell asleep.
While everyone was doing their own thing, Jack was browsing through his store for a certain thing. Earlier when Tashigi was asking what to do, Jack thought back to what he use to do when he traveled in his previous life.
The first thing that came to mind was music, and knowing about record dials, seashell like things that were basically recording devices, Jack searched for some that were already filled with songs. Finding a giant list of them, Jack purchased hundreds of them to listen to.
He started listening to a few of them, but to him the music was terrible. Eventually he did manage to find a few that sounded similar to some Rock'n Roll songs, and some other slow calming songs. He went through quite a bit of them until the door burst open and everyone marched into the room.
"What is that?!!" Luke shouted with wide eyes as he pointed to the record dial that was playing an upbeat song. "Hmmm? You mean the record dial? It's a device used to record stuff. This one here has a pretty good song in it, but I got no idea what it's called." Jack said as he held up the device that was playing the nice music.
"Where did you get it?!" Luke asked as he took the device from Jack, looking it over curiously. Jack smiled at him before he brought out hundreds of them from his inventory. "I have lots of them, but I don't know what songs each of them have on them. I purchased them from a cool shop, and I was told these things come from one of the Sky Islands. People bought these and recorded their own songs into them, and sell them for fortunes to the right people. Now they're mine." Jack said as he gestured to all of the devices around him.
Before he could even say a word, Luke grabbed an armful of them before making his way to his room. Everyone else followed suit and grabbed an armful before going to their rooms as well, leaving Jack and Smoker alone in the control room.
"*Sigh* I hope they know I expect every single one of those back..." Jack said tiredly. Smoker just pulled up a seat and started to play one that had a label on it. 'Ocean Guide' The song was very smooth, and one that Smoker had listened to when he was much younger. After the song finished, Smoker asked, "Do you mind if I have this one?"
Jack listened to the song as it played, and it really was a relaxing song. "Sure. I'm pretty sure I got another one of those around here anyway." Jack said, already buying another one of the same dials from the shop.
Him and Smoker sat in silence as they listened to a few other ones, tossing some to the side that were simply terrible, while keeping all of the good ones in a pile of their own. Smoker ended up getting 19 of them that he liked and went to put them in his room.
The girls came back not long after and raided a few more from him, but not before he made them promise to bring them back to him later. 'Looks like one of the lower floors is gonna be a music room' Jack mused to himself. They stopped during the night to sleep, but picked back up early in the morning. They made it to Whiskey Peak after barely even two days of travel, which for anyone else would have been unheard of.
As the Pearl descended down to the small island, Jack noticed all the people that came out to greet them. According to the anime, they only attacked pirates and turned them in for the bounties, but the people were giving them the same welcome as they gave the pirates in the show.
'Maybe they wanna try and rob me' Jack thought with a frown on his face. Before anyone could say or do anything, Jack unleashed a wave of his Conqueror's Haki on everyone around them as he gave them all a death glare.
"IF ANY OF YOU BOUNTY HUNTING FUCK'S EVEN THINK ABOUT TOUCHING MY SHIP, I'LL RIP YOUR SPINES OUT THROUGH YOUR FUCKING MOUTHS!!" Jack shouted, not even bothering to risk anyone of them touching his precocious ship.
All of the people were on their knee's, trembling before Jack as he jumped down to the ground. "I don't particularly care about Baroque Works or anything like that. I only came here to grab someone, and leave." Jack stated as he walked around the kneeling figures. It didn't take him long at all to come across a bright blue haired young woman, and a tall man with a red nose who also looked to be wearing a powdered wig, but it was actually his own hair.
"Princess Vivi Nefertari and head of the Royal guards of Alabasta, Igram. I would say it was a pleasure to meet you, but I'd be lying." Jack didn't let them talk before he made them disappear into his darkness.
Turning to the remaining people, who all looked terrified, Jack cleared his throat before shouting, "My business here is done, go back to doing whatever it is you usually do. I will warn you all to work together apart from Baroque works, as it will be finished in a few days. Your boss is already running from me, and I'm tired of letting him hide."
As Jack walked back towards the Pearl, he made mountains of dried food and preservatives appear around him. He knew the residents of the island suffered from lack of food at times, and with this they could ration it out when they needed to. "You can keep hunting pirates and other criminals, but if you attack merchants or other travelers, I will be back for your heads!" Jack shouted as he jumped back aboard the Pearl, before it took off into the sky.
As the ship flew out of sight, everyone looked to each other with wide eyes. "Death himself just gave us a warning, it would be unwise to not heed his advice!" Someone shouted. There was shouting here and there, but the end result was the same for everyone. They were no longer apart of Baroque Works, and they would never attack someone who didn't deserve it.
As the Pearl flew in the direction Jack instructed, two individuals were sprawled out on the deck, not sure as to what was going on. "You two are stupid, you know that?" Jack said as he looked down at them from a throne like chair.
"Two fools who don't even bother to think before they act! Do you feel worthless?!!" Vivi looked on the verge of crying, while everyone else watched the scene in front of them in silence. Nami was about to say something, but Jack glared at her before turning back to the two prone figures.
"You could have sent other agents undercover for you, yet you came in person. Both of you are very well known, and Baroque Works knows all about you and was going to kill you in about a year. Give or take a few months, I'm not entirely sure, but it was soon." Vivi's eyes went wide at his words, but she didn't say anything.
"You didn't want to risk your people's lives, but if you die, you doom them all. Your little act of heroism could have been the downfall of Alabasta, and as the Royal guard, I would think the position would require some brain cells!!" Jack berated them, not even brothering to hold himself back.
"Now hold on!! You weren't there!!" Igram started to speak up in protest of Jack's treatment of them, but Jack wasn't having any of it. "SILENCE!! You didn't even think to take anyone else into consideration!! You didn't tell the other royal guards about it!! You may have thought you were doing a good thing, but it was foolish!! The sooner you accept that, the sooner you can move on and learn from it!! And I'll not have YOU, telling ME, what is or isn't appropriate!!" Everyone jumped a little at Jack's outburst. His sudden burst of rage caught them off guard because usually he was calm and collected.
Jack didn't bother to turn his gaze away from Vivi, staring intently into her eyes as her tears dropped onto the deck. "You're right." She whispered, not loud enough for anyone but Jack to hear. "I couldn't hear you." Jack said calmly. "You're right." Vivi whispered once again, still not loud enough for anyone to here. "I still couldn't hear you" Jack repeated plainly.
"I SAID YOU'RE RIGHT!!" Vivi shouted as more tears poured down her face. *Clap* *Clap* *Clap* "Well done Vivi! The first step is realizing you made a mistake. Now you need to figure out how to fix it." Jack said with a smile on his face as he stood from his chair and approached her.
"The leader of Baroque Works is the Warlord, Crocodile. We are going to kill him and all of his men, in return I want you to promise me that you and your father will sit down for a meeting with me." Jack stated bluntly, not hiding a thing. Her eyes went wide at his words, and her mouth fell open. "Y-You want to fight him?!! No one can beat him, he's too strong!!" Vivi shouted hysterically.
"Hehe I'm Jack Sparrow. He couldn't beat a single member of my crew, let alone me!" Jack said confidently. "You do know he is the new ruler of East Blue right?" Tashigi said from the side, making Vivi's and Igram's eyes widen in shock. "I'll take care of your reptile problem, but I will hold you to a meeting with your father." Jack said before he walked back into the control room and slowly increased the speed of the ship.
"Well... that just happened." Smoker said dryly. Everyone stood there in silence, not sure as to what they were going to do now. "Why don't we give Vivi and Igram a tour of the ship?" Nami cut in, trying to end the weird atmosphere.
Luke had zero intention to play babysitter or host to anyone, so he walked down to the training room to get a workout in. Smoker wasn't a very social person to begin with, and the thought of giving a tour to royalty sounded about as fun as a week of Jack's training. He climbed up to the crowsnest and listened to some songs he had stashed away up there.
In the end, the three girls gave a tour of the ship, which wasn't a surprise given their personalities. "Why was Jack so upset?" Nami asked Nojiko as they made their way to the library. Shrugging her shoulders, Nojiko replied, "Beats me. If I had to guess, I would probably say it's because they could have got millions of people killed with their actions. We all know how much he hates it when civilians get caught up in fighting."
Tashigi nodded her head beside them as she added, "However, it could be something else entirely. Jack is already an anomaly compared to anyone else I've ever heard about, so anything could have triggered him." They continued on in silence until they got to the library, then they showed off all of the different sections of books.
"This is amazing! There are books here that even his highness couldn't get his hands on!" Igram stated as he looked over some of the books. "Just as a warning, don't do anything that could hurt a book, and don't take it out of the library. Jack almost had a panic attack when I borrowed some books without him knowing." Nami said with a smile as she thought back to how Jack almost took every berry she had as collateral for just a few books.
"Fond memories..." Nami said once again as she was lost in her own world. Tashigi was snickering at Nami's warning before adding, "You didn't borrow 'Some Books', you took over 50 books, and never checked them out properly. Thanks to you, we have to ask permission from Jack, as well as write down what book we're trying to borrow, before we can take them out of the library."
Nojiko shot a glare at Nami before adding, "And anyone breaking the rules gets suspended from entering the library, plus charged 10 million berries!!" Nami could only look away out of guilt. It was entirely because she thought she could get away with it, but Jack was like a bloodhound when it came to his books. "It sounds like he loves his books!" Vivi said with a hint of awe, as she looked at the hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of books in the room.
After going down and seeing the new music room and the rooms where they would be staying, they all made their way into the kitchen. "So whose the cook on the ship?" Vivi asked curiously. "That would be Jack. He is the best cook you'll ever find, but he hates cooking. He always says he is gonna try and find a proper cook, but never does." Tashigi said as they all sat at one of the tables.
"The guy is like a never ending supply of whatever you want!! I honestly want to see everything he has stashed away!" Nami said as she stared off into space before continuing, "I'll bet the One Piece doesn't hold a candle to everything he has stored away." She had fantasized on multiple occasions to find the greatest treasure in the world, and after getting to know Jack, she thought she had found it.
They talked for quite awhile about their adventures and their training in East Blue. They talked about how they were part of the Adventurer's Association, and it's first guild. Igram and Vivi listened with rapt attention throughout the entire story, not believing all the tales they had heard.
"So you all have killed other people before?" Vivi asked, unsure of how she felt about killing. "Yeah, we all have killed lots of people. We aren't proud of it, but we're not ashamed of it either. Jack taught us that there are just some people that the world would be better off without." Nojiko said, not hiding a thing from anyone.
"Picture it this way." Nami said as she got their attention. "Imagine everyone you hold dear to you standing on a bridge. The bridge is over an endless pit into the abyss, while on one side of the bridge is pain, suffering, hatred, and all of your worst fears. On the other side, there is a tropical island with food, warmth, and where all your dreams can come true. The path to suffering is clear, but the path to dreams is blocked by monsters. You have the strength to end the monsters, but your loved ones don't. If you do nothing, your loved ones must go back to hell, so what do you do?"
Vivi and Igram couldn't even blink their eyes as they listened to Nami, and when they were given a choice, it seemed obvious. "When you say it like that, there really is only one answer." Vivi said, as she thought about herself in that situation.
"That's how we were when Jack said the same thing. There will always be monsters that block your path, and what you choose to do will effect those around you. Sure you can take your family with you and run, but the monsters will kill and corrupt others, creating more monsters until all of the world is corrupt. We will get rid of the filth of the world to keep it clean!" Tashigi said in a serious tone.
"Your Captain sounds like a wise man." Igram commented before thinking about the story again. "Indeed I am!" Jack's voice sounded from the doorway as he walked into the room, Luke and Smoker entering behind him.
As everyone looked over to Jack, they couldn't help but notice he seemed much happier than earlier. "It's always nice to be appreciated." Jack said with a smile as he took a seat next to Nojiko.
"If you wouldn't mind, could you please stop the ship?" Jack said as he looked to Nojiko beside him. The next moment, everyone felt the ship slow down before coming to a halt. "Why are we stopping?" Nami asked as she pulled out a map and spread it out on the table.
"We are close to our next destination. I could see it off in the distance a few minutes ago, so it shouldn't be too far away." Jack answered as he pulled out enough food for a small army. "I don't wanna fight on an empty stomach." Jack said before filling up a tray with a mountain of food, everyone else following suit.
"We're already in Alabasta?!!" Vivi exclaimed in shock. "Don't be ridiculous!" Jack said through a mouthful of food. Vivi sighed calmed down at that, but was back to shock as Jack said, "We still have about three or four more hours of travel before we get to Alabasta."
Igram couldn't hold himself back as he asked, "If we're not in Alabasta, then where are we?" Jack didn't answer right away, instead he stuffed his face for a few minutes. Finally he answered, "We're in Drum Kingdom. I wanna make a quick stop and kill their king, then we can head to Alabasta." He talked as though it was just an everyday thing, but Vivi and Igram were looking at him Wide eyed.
"You can't kill a monarch!! What about your whole talk about a kingdom falling to ruin without it's ruler?!!" Vivi fiercely protested in a nervous tone. If Jack was just going to kill some king, whose to say he wouldn't kill her father. The thought was not pleasing.
"I'm not gonna leave the place without a king, that would be irresponsible. I'm just going to kill the current one and replace it with someone more fitting for the job." Jack said with a smile on his face.
"But-" Vivi was cut-off as Jack held up a hand towards her. "This king is more of a tyrant, and his people hate him. His replacement will be someone from the kingdom, and someone the people want." Jack clarified before he finished off his food. "You guys can come on down to the island if you want, but we should only be here for an hour or two." Jack said as he left the table and started walking towards the door.
"Aren't you guys going to stop him?!!" Vivi asked everyone else, expecting them to run after Jack. Luke got up from his chair, making Vivi sigh in relief. "I've always wanted to overthrow a kingdom." Luke said as he headed out as well, causing Vivi to become flustered once more. "Don't pay attention to those two monsters. If it were up to them, they'd burn the world to the ground." Nami said, not comforting Vivi in the slightest.
"They may seem cruel and violent, but they aren't bad people. The fact Jack wants to meet your father and not straight up head there to kill him, tells me it's not gonna be violent." Smoker said, finally managing to calm the blue haired princess. "Let's go and watch Jack take over a country!" Nojiko said, sounding a little too happy.
Jack walked outside and noticed they overshot the Drum Kingdom by a small margin, but didn't think too much about it. Instead, he Moonwalked closer and glided down to the winter wonderland towards the giant castle on one of the mountains. As he landed on the ground, he noticed a group of armed soldiers running towards him with their weapons at the ready.
"Where's the little fat bastard you fuckers call 'king'?!!" Jack shouted with a calm expression on his face. It wasn't until dozens of soldiers had him surrounded completely, that a small fat man with an oddly shaped mouth walked out of the castle. 'Wapol' Jack thought internally, not being able to miss the little creep anywhere.
"Who the hell is this guy, and why is he in my castle?!!" Wapol shouted like a kid throwing a tantrum. Beside Wapol, a man wearing green armor, and two jester looking people stood tall. "Dalton!! How ya doin buddy?!!" Jack shouted with a smile towards the man in green armor.
Taken aback, Dalton looked the stranger over with a keen eye. 'I've never seen this guy before, but he clearly knows me' Dalton thought quickly. "I'm... doing good." Answered Dalton warily.
"That's great!! Anyway, I'm gonna need you to become king here in a few minutes!" Jack didn't let anyone process his words before he appeared next to Wapol and grabbed him by the throat. "Time for a change in management!" Jack called out menacingly before pulling out some crates.
Everyone watched with mouths agape as Jack tore Wapol's head from his shoulders with nothing but his bare hands. "And they never had to hear his annoying voice again. Your welcome!!" Jack bowed to everyone, like he had just done something spectacular.
"Y-You just killed his highness, King Wapol!!" one of the jester creeps shouted. Those were the last words he ever said, before his body split in two, Luke landing right in front of him. The jester with the afro was cleaved in half next before Luke turned his attention to Jack.
"Is this really all the military this county has?" Luke asked disbelievingly, looking at the cowering soldiers who were practically nothing already. "This county is more known for it's medical knowledge, than it is for it's military might." Jack clarified for Luke, who still didn't seem to believe it, then turned his attention back to Dalton.
"Sorry about that, but he truly was a despicable thing. A glorified trash can if I ever saw one." Jack said as he incinerated Wapol's corpse and the two that Luke cut in half. "Now that all that's over and done with, I'm sure the people would quite appreciate it if you took over as the new ruler. Get the doctors back to doing their jobs, continue researching in the medical field. Anything will be better than what that tin can was doing before." Jack said as he looked over the paralyzed soldiers.
"As for you lot, you can choose to serve a worthy leader who will do right by his people and fight by your side, or I can kill you here and now." Unsurprisingly, every soldier instantly stepped towards Dalton and got to one knee, then swore their life and loyalty to their new liege.
"Glad that's all settled!! Let's just move your castle so it's not so fucking far away from your villages!" Before Dalton or any of the guards could ask what Jack meant, they were all devoured in a wave of darkness, as well as the castle and the doctors inside said castle.
Jack had the perfect view of the entire island from up here on the bluff, so it wasn't too difficult to find the ideal location between all of the villages. "What about that spot?" Jack pointed a finger towards a decent looking spot.
Luke finished taking a drink of his beer before he looked to where Jack was pointing. "It's a good spot, but it can't be fortified very easily." Luke pointed out, then went back to drinking. The both sat on the edge of the bluff for 20 minutes, drinking and discussing locations until they finally settled on one.
Jack jumped towards his chosen location, Luke right by his side as he descended downwards. When they got to the spot, Jack used his power to burn the surrounding area, changing the landscape to how he desired before bringing out the castle in strategic spot. Next came Dalton, the guards, and finally the doctors.
"What the hell was that?!!" Dalton shouted in panic as he looked towards Jack awaiting an explanation. "Transportation?" Jack said, sounding as though he was unsure himself.
"Anyway, with the castle here, you can be closer to all of your citizens, get to them faster if they are ever in danger, get resources faster, and be able to keep the doctors close together for all of their research. Now off you go, shoo, have fun." Jack said, gesturing for Dalton and everyone else with him to scram.
"Feels good doing a good deed!" Jack said happily as he slapped Luke across the back, sending him forward a few steps. Luke walked back to Jack, and answered in kind with a slap of his own. Brushing it off, Jack used his Haki to find a certain old witch on the island.
It wasn't too difficult to find her, but he had to stop and think about if he really wanted her on his ship. "Hey Luke. If you had the chance to get one of the worlds best doctors on your crew, but she was... eccentric. Would you still try to get her?" Jack asked Luke for his opinion.
"Are you stupid? Look at our merry little band, none of us are exactly normal. Nami is a a greedy thief who can predict the weather to the point it's creepy. Nojiko is somewhat more normal than the others, but she is a gun freak, a bully, and with her new power, who knows what else is wrong with her."
Luke paused to take a drink before continuing, "Tashigi can't stop talking about swords. She wants to find every legendary sword out there for some stupid purpose. Her goal really isn't that great. Smokey is a former marine captain, turned adventurer. He is made of smoke, and inhales hundreds of those damn cigars a day without a problem."
Luke started smiling as he said, "As for me, I know I'm not exactly a nice person. I got rage problems like you wouldn't believe, and I really want to kill a very long list of people. Then there is you. An anomaly among us if I ever saw one. You have the craziest power I've ever even heard of, have what seems like an unlimited amount of stuff inside you. You know about certain people and what they're doing from across the fucking world, and your control over your Haki is terrifying. Whoever this doctor is, if she's that good and her only problem is being a little eccentric, then let's get her." Luke finished with a smirk on his face.
Jack stopped to think for a second before saying, "I guess being normal is overrated. Let's go and get a doctor."
It didn't take long for the both of them to appear outside Kureha's house, and before they could even walk to the door, a slender woman with an athletes body walked outside holding a bottle of some weird juice. Her face was wrinkled and her hair was pure white.
"Hello there. Have you come to find the secret of my youth?" The old woman asked with a feral smile on her face, not worried in the slightest. "Not at all. We are here to find the best doctor in the world to join us in our travels. I had heard rumors' that she lived here, but was a witch. I did not think you would look this young from what I was told." Jack said in a polite tone as he flattered the old woman.
"Are we seeing the same person? What did you hear about her? She looks ancient." Luke said in a whisper towards Jack. In the next instant, the bottle in the old woman's hand smashed Luke in the face faster than anyone could blink. The bottle shattered on impact, spraying Luke with some red liquid and broken glass. "What the fuck?!!" Luke shouted, more in shock than anything else.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you it's rude to talk about a ladies age?" Jack asked with a raised brow. "At least one of you seems to have some manners!" Kureha said with a smile towards Jack. "But I'm sorry, I have no intention of leaving here just yet. The people here still need me." Kureha stated, then turned to go back inside her house.
"Wapol is dead, Dalton is the new king, and the doctors are back to work." Jack quickly spat out, causing Kureha to stop in her tracks. "Please let me introduce myself. I am Jack D. Sparrow. Current ruler of East Blue, leader of the Dark Phoenix guild, and head of the Adventurer's Association." Jack said as he gave a slight bow.
"Well now, that sure is a lot of titles for one person." Kureha said as she eyed Jack in a new light. "What's in it for me, and what exactly would be my position? If, for some reason I agreed." Kureha asked with intrigue.
"A place on the Pearl, one of the finest medical labs you could ask for, every medical book under the sun, and any ingredient you should ever need. As for your job, just patch us up whenever we need it, and maybe teach some individuals in the art of a doctor." Jack said clearly, hoping to entice her to join them.
"Hmmm.... I also have an apprentice. What about him?" Kureha asked curiously. "Not a problem. We have more than enough room to accommodate him, and we don't discriminate against any race." Jack clarified for the old woman.
"We can leave at a moments notice. Isn't that right Nojiko?" Jack shouted out the last part. The next moment Nojiko floated into the open from the clouds, the Black Pearl in all her glory following suit. "Of course Captain!" Nojiko shouted happily.
Kureha took one look at the Pearl and her mouth fell open. She had been around for over a century and had seen many spectacular ships out there, but none were as magnificent as the ship floating before her eyes.
"She is the greatest ship ever built. You should see the interior. Truly a sight to behold." A proud Jack proclaimed happily as he marveled at his creation. Jack gave Kureha a tour of the ship and where her new quarters would be if she joined up. The thing that really sealed the deal in Jack's opinion was when he told her he had a never ending supply of Plum Sake, her preferred drink.
She ultimately decided to join them, but saying that she could/would leave anytime she felt like it. Jack agreed to it, and they packed all of her belongings to her chambers. When Nojiko and Nami saw the little reindeer that was Kureha's apprentice, they took him up like he was a little pet.
The little reindeer was named, Tony-Tony Chopper, but they just called him Chopper. Luke liked the little reindeer more than anyone and they quickly became good friends. 'I really wonder what it is with him and animals?' Jack thought in bewilderment as he saw Luke talking happily to the little reindeer.
After Kureha had officially joined them and everything she had was aboard the ship, Jack introduced her to everyone before they launched themselves in the direction of Alabasta. "What are we doing in Alabasta?" Chopper asked curiously.
Luke, who was sitting beside him in the kitchen dining area answered, "Vivi here, she is the princess of Alabasta. We are escorting her home, then we are going to kill the warlord that is trying to take over her country by causing a civil war and making the people suffer in a drought."
Chopper was shocked at the answer, but Kureha who was also there, just turned her gaze towards Jack. 'knowing what this little monster is capable of, I think the world is in for a big change, and I have a front row seat to the show' Kureha thought happily.
"We should arrive in Alabasta in about three to four hours from now. We will sleep for a few hours, then head right to where Crocodile is hiding out. You all have a list of his top subordinates, and who all of his other underlings are. You know who to kill, but leave the little reptile to me." Jack stated to everyone present. Kureha and Chopper of course didn't know, but Jack wouldn't have them fighting unless they wanted to.
True to Jack's words, three hours later and they could see Alabasta coming into view as they flew through the sky. Jack saw the sandy country, but unlike the others who marveled at it's beauty, he only had one thought on his mind. 'Time to go croc hunting.'
