Chapter 10

Ivan Dreyar POV

"For years and years, you have done many good deeds for Fairy Tail. No one would have suspected anything. And yet here you are, your life in my hands. Now tell me, what should I do?"

When I heard him say this, I felt like it was a death sentence. No matter what I say, he would kill me, wouldn't he?

So what was the point of begging?

I closed my eyes, ready for the sharp cold feeling behind my neck to pierce through.

However, his very next words angered whilst giving me hope.

"Unfortunately, there is no value for me in killing the likes of you. Run, run, and cling to your pitiful life. When the time comes, Laxus will come to realize who was right and who was wrong and he will be the right one to end you."

"Laxus by now should have heard of your ex-communication. I am sure that he is currently throwing a fit and giving quite an earful to Makarov. I do hope you realize that your actions have caused your son and Fairy Tail much pain and hatred. It is not in my place to kill you."

Haaa? Laxus? The sick brat with the lacrima that was supposed to be mine? As if he could kill me! Of course, I could not say that.

"Yes, of course. I truly deserve punishment for what I've done!" I hated saying this. Absolutely hated it. But what else could I do but agree to this monster of a magician? He could kill me without me even knowing it!

I sighed in relief when I felt the cold kunai remove itself from my neck.

"There is no need for you to lie. You are infuriated at your own weakness and seek for meaningless revenge..."

His words were ruthless and arrogant. But I could not reply.

Gradually, I felt the dominating presence behind my back disappear as my surroundings returned to normal. I could see the forest again.

However, by instinct, when I gazed up the tree in front of me, I was once again reminded why he was deemed the Elusive Eyes of Fairy Tail.

His jet-black hair and cloak waved along with the wind as he atop a branch leaning on the trunk of the tree. His unique red eyes coldly stared down at me.

"You-"

"...After all, your eyes speak the truth, even if everything else you say is a lie."

He was... in front of me... all along?

Third Person POV

It was now July, 7 X777.

The lost sons of the fire dragon and iron dragon looked up to see a crow, as did the daughter of the sky dragon...

Itachi POV

In the past 5 years, I had gained enough points to remove the blindness effects from the usage of my Mangeyko Sharingan whilst upgrading my Susanoo to its muscle form. In addition, I had gained the ability to use Totsuka Blade. I believe that I will be able to use the Yata Mirror when I upgrade the Susanoo to its armored form.

In another year or so, I will have enough for the Flying Thunder God.

The system now classifies me as someone who can take on decade-class jobs. Two tiers above S-Class. This accounted for my ability to use all elemental "magic."

What I mean by that is I can use almost all jutsu from Naruto as long as they were apart of the Five Basic Natures via my ever-growing magic pool that grew in proportion with my strength.

I have also sent out crows to invite the first generation of dragon slayers to Fairy Tail. They would be joining Fairy Tail regardless so I am merely speeding up the process.

Another year had passed. It was now X778

Laxus had become a powerful S-Class Mage, displaying his arrogance everywhere he goes.

And I, the Elusive Eyes of Fairy Tail had become a candidate for a position among the Ten Wizard Saints. It was "established" that I had no true firepower in my arsenal of magic but I had the combat power to contend against a Saint with my ambiguous magic that none had ever seen before.

But little did they know, I also had the ability of the Totsuka Blade, which was essentially a sword that sealed all its victims in an eternity of dreams.

Besides that, this was the year that the Strauss siblings faced discrimination due to Mirajane's awakening of her Satan Soul.

Crow invitations for everybody it seems.
