The drive to Jules's house is long and we have to make numerous stops but once the sun starts to come out the next day, I see the cabin. The one where he has lived his life in isolation. I look to the back seat and both Gyles and Rex are asleep in each other's arms. My heart warms up from the sight in front of me. I switch off the engine of the car and I see the front door to the cabin open. We are in the middle of the woods. This is the place that Jules decided to call his home a long time ago. This is the place he is most comfortable in and even though I stayed with him for a year, It never felt like home.
