Chapter 132 – Light and Dark Seeds

Aile was finally free from the issues here. He noticed that Hazel was still in a daze, so he held her close and said, "I am sorry I have not treated you very well."

"What are you talking about? You are... great," said Hazel shyly.

"Then do you consider me your..."

Hazel understood Aile's intention and interjected, "I am sorry, I was reminiscing about the past. I-I am glad to have met you." She then gave Aile a tender kiss. She knew that in Aile, she had found herself a new family that cared for her, and she did not want to make Aile or herself feel otherwise.

Aile held her hand and said, "let's go home." Like a close couple, they left towards the mansion. The only oddity was that they were wearing masks.

Aile had gotten the news that Emily had arrived and he also needed to talk with the body's original soul. There was also the problem with his light element, he had not been able to utilize it in any other way apart from calming the dark part of his soul. Therefore, Aile had to find the answers, and the body's original soul had them. He did not want to be put in a passive position, but as long as he is not unreasonable, Aile would not worry. At the very least, Aile had figured out that the body's original soul was cunning to an extent. He probably learned from observing Aile all this while.

Aile and Hazel arrived at the house. Hazel separated from him, and he decided to talk with the body's original soul first.

After going to his training room, Aile closed his eyes and entered the soul space again. His soul that consisted of the rotating black and white got up and headed towards Duke White's seal.

"You came back, have you made a decision?"

"I have, I will not be swindled by you," said Aile confidently.

"WHAT?"

"Well, you had always claimed that you are offering me a lot at your expense and so far it was all exaggerated. So I do not think you have anything that will be of any use to me. You have given me cultivation that does not allow me to use the light element. You have protected my soul at one instance, but then again if anything happens to me, you will also be affected. You mysteriously claimed that Leia and Laila will be in danger, but who knows what you will tell me. It is probably something obvious. Well, that is my answer and do not bother me with these fake excuses."

"Humph, why should I gave you something without getting something back, is that how you operate?" said the body's original soul.

"I am not interested in making a deal with you. At least not how you are acting now."

After some more back and forth the body's original soul's persona crumbled a little, and he said, "I just want to see the outside. I know you have saved me from Duke White and on many other occasions. I know I can not have the body back. I know... I just want to know what happens out there. I do not like the loneliness here."

"Well in that case show some sincerity and I might give in to a part of your requests. Before that, What should I call you?"

"I do not have a name."

"How about I call you... Fynn, it means bright, and since you are a light element soul, it will suit you."

"Ok."

"So what were you saying Fynn."

"Can you allow me to look outside, at least once, if I gave you some information?"

Aile's soul nodded.

Fynn then gave Aile an explanation of why he could not utilize the light element.

He said, "The light and dark element are unique as they consist of two things. They are not only elements but also the representation of balance. Light represents serenity and order, and the dark represents disorder and emotional excitement.

To cultivate them, you can only absorb their elemental particles. Which is only half of what they are made of, you can not grasp their representative nature.

Hence you will need to create the nature of the element in yourself.

To cultivate light-element, you would need to create a seed that leads to serenity and order.

He also said that it is just the basic understanding of these two elements, and there is more to it, but he does not have the full knowledge of it. Aile should get a better understanding of it himself.

He continued and gave an example if you want to represent order and serenity by destroying evil. You can create a vanquish evil seed.

Then every time evil is destroyed by you, the seed will grow, allowing to nurture a part of your light element into its complete form constantly. However, to improve, you need to keep on destroying evil absolutely. The seed will complete the light-element in your body. The nature added to the element will also increase the power in specific instances. For instance, if one cultivated vanquish-evil seed, then the attacks containing light element will be more effective against evil cultivators."

Aile understood Fynn's explanation. To put it simply, the cultivation of light and dark element had two stages, first is absorbing elements. Second is creating 2 seeds each.

The seeds will need to grow to allow one to use light or dark elements.

The seeds will either push a person towards good or evil. The light-seeds will try to create more order creating the illusion of good, and the dark-seeds guides one towards disorder.

They were a controlled form of how the dark part of Aile's soul intensified his emotions.

After asking some more questions, Aile learnt that they indeed change people after cultivating them. Either pushing them towards righteous or evil.

After thinking about it, Aile decided that the two seeds for the light element he creates will be the opposite of the dark one. This way, they will balance each other and not change him at the emotional level. Fynn gave Aile a few ways to create light element seeds. He told Aile that he does not have a method for the dark element.

Aile could find out the method for the dark element from the Heavenly Book of Myriad Stars. Therefore he was not worried.

Aile asked him about the risk to Leia and Laila. He did not give a full answer, he just replied, that he recognized Duke Noland from his inheritance.

He then stated that if Duke Noland knows of Aile's identity, he will have to kill Leia and Laila based on that place's tradition and rules, because they married him. He also said that Duke Noland is strong enough that no one in here would be able to stop him once he goes all out. Therefore the risk to them is very high.

Aile then promised to give him access to his eyes and ears later for a bit. With that, he departed. He then checked the Heavenly Book of Myriad Stars for the Dark Seeds, soon he found it. However, the majority were things that Aile could not accept.

Parasite Seed - absorb the life essence by consuming the blood of your child.

Child's Downfall - kill a newborn child every week to strengthen the seed.

Envy's ring - Take one thing from someone dear to you every day until they have nothing left, killing them to complete the seed.

Most of these were not things that he was willing to do.

Getting tired of looking at these unreasonable methods, Aile decided to check the dark element cultivation methods. He was worried that he might face a similar problem there. As Aile predicted once he opened the cultivation methods. Most of them were in the path of evil cultivation.

Heart Absorbtion Mantra - collecting heart of virgins under the age of 12 and absorbing it through consumption. 3 stages, the first stage collect 10,000. Second stage 100,000, third stage 1,000,000 hearts.

Soul Refining - Gruesomely kill people to collect their resentment and turn them into power. 9 stages ...

Heart of Fire - Gather Nether flames and burn your body to strengthen the body and remove emotional ties, living free and unfettered.

Aile then went through a lot of cultivation methods only to find a few suitable ones. After a few hours researching, Aile had come up with a few viable solutions for his dark element's cultivation. As well as, his dark and light seeds, Aile let out a long breath but did not make the final decision yet.

He then found a maid and told her to call Diana or Zero. Not long after Zero came. Aile asked her to bring Diana, Leia, Emily, and Hazel. Soon, they arrived after welcoming Emily with a firm hug, it had been months since he embraced her, so it took a while before they separated, he told them to sit down. Zero did not leave and stood in the side to find out the reason for this gathering.

He explained the situation to them, about how he plans to cultivate both light and dark element. He mentioned the seeds and how he plans to offset their reaction by picking opposite sides so that it would balance out. He also told them about the options for his dark element to cultivate.
