Chapter 205 - Confusion

As Aile was walking, he was a bit disappointed and at the same time content, that things did not end differently. However, the harder to resist part was going to be at night when he has to sleep between Sara and Sophie.

Nonetheless, Aile decided to refrain from acting too intimately for the first 3 days here. After three days of thinking if all of them do not mind the progression of their relationship, then he would not hold back.

Sara and Sophie calmed down and were annoyed. They talked with each other shyly and then got irritated that their friend and maid interrupted. Not to mention her ogling him. Emily, too, had promised to give them a few hours alone and now she disrupted them. They then tried to brainstorm why he would be willing to take the next step with Hazel, but he stopped himself with them. They had done their research to find the best way to keep someone by one's side. This led them to understand that some powerful woman with lots of influence can make a man only be theirs, not to mention some keep multiple. However, this does not seem to work with Aile.

While there were other men with one woman, but they could not find anything special that those ladies do and most of them did not have much in common between them. Thus, they could not learn anything that could make Aile stay by their side.

Hazel, Fiona, Emily and the others are influential or powerful in their own way yet nothing like that happened. They also thought that maybe Emily and the other's were not trying to keep him to themselves. Therefore, they decided that things will be different if they were rich and powerful, now that they had that to an extent, nothing changed.

In fact, Emily, Fiona and Hazel got to spend more time with him because of their business. They did not get the same attention. They were also trying to figure out where they went wrong. Sara started to look towards her body in the mirror and wondered if that was the case, yet not all the people he was close to was curvily endowed.

Sara and Sophie failed to realize that Hazel and the others were working in tandem with him, while they were, in a sense, competing with him. Aile was not trying to get into their affairs, to not seem that he was jealous or eyeing their business. After all, he did not want to give them the wrong idea. They were simply blinded by their attraction to him missing such a connection.

At the same time, Sara and Sophie had doubted that they could establish their own worth and influence that could attract him if they used most of his power and resources to create it.

However, Aile was not even concerned by their newly gained influence to treat them any differently. Now they embarrassedly tried to figure out what made them different than Emily, Fiona and the others. Because they knew, had they been in their place today, the end result would be different. Sara then thought of something and whispered it to Sophie, and now they had another approach to try later. Soon after, they came up with a few theories that they could test now that Aile was here with them.

Meanwhile, Aile and the noble maid, that kept on stealing glances at him, were walking towards the main entrance. Aile asked her a few questions and told her to not disclose any of the things she saw. To which she shyly nodded.

Her straight stature and noble bearing made her look like a strong negotiator. Yet she was completely different now after what she saw. Perhaps if Aile sees her on a normal day, he would not even recognize her, as she conducts herself very differently. Even while facing influential individuals, she has her noble like demeanour.

Leaving the mansion, the maid guided him towards a different structure that seems to be used for greeting the guests. They did not enter through the main entrance, but a side one. There at the room, Emily and Fiona were waiting for him. To the astonishment of Aile, they both nodded at the maid as a sort of greeting. This surprised Aile, such things would not happen to every maid, and finally, Aile took a glance at her and noticed that she was anything but normal.

In fact, many influential people fail to get Fiona and Emily's recognition. It seems that his mind has indeed been affected by what happened in the bath. Failing to take into account such a person. Fortunately, it appeared that Fiona and Emily were not taking any precautions in front of her, meaning she was trustworthy. After a short greeting and a kiss with Fiona, Aile greeted Emily intimately. Making the noble maid's jaw almost drop. She had seen his act intimately not only with Sara and Sophie but also Fiona and Emily. She wondered who he was. The four of them had not considered anyone from the many noble families. Yet this person came and was intimately acting with all of them.

Aile sat on a chair and made Emily set on his lap as he had not seen her yet. He was getting a brief explanation of the noble family they will meet. Aile also got briefed about their status, power level and other conjectures that they had about what transpired.

After getting the information, they asked him if they should leave and meet them. Aile shook his head and asked for some more time. He closed his eyes and started to meditate. Aile was not going to a somewhat important meeting while his mind was elsewhere. Not letting go of Emily, he sat there, closing his eyes. While he brought his focus internally for 10 minutes before his mind was clear. The restoration affinity light element played a considerable role in getting Aile in the optimum state.

With that out of the way, the three of them left to the meeting. Aile and Emily were masked while Fiona, and surprisingly, the maid attended the meeting, that too without face covers.
