Chapter 0145 - Mooven

'Rabbit, Ferret' Zhan read the Gygax off in his head when they came to a stop. His body shifted again. It was warm, he had the instinct to dig but he was not content. Using his paws, he stood on his hind legs and upright, grabbed the dice again and threw.

"Come on baby.. give me something that flys!" 'Sparrow, Rat' Zhan's body felt lighter, much lighter as he shrank a bit. His tail split into five giving him some aerodynamic ability, then, they spun around each other, looking more rat like. Tucking his wings back, Zhan looked at the feathers under his arms. They were furry and exceptionally light.

Flapping his arms, he started to move upward. His ability to use wings was non-existent, his flight path looked more like a bat that had run into too many things, keeping himself in the air was a problem.

He landed.

-{"Harder than it looks eh?"} Ferser teased at Zhan for not soaring into the sky immediately.

"Shut up." He grabbed the Gygax and threw again. 'Hippo, Dragon' Zhan felt silly saying the words out loud in his mind, he waited for the transformation.

His wings spread further out, buckling and twisting around his rib cage. His chest expanded and his head grew more round. Scales covered his body, thick heavy scales that glistened with frost. he was taller, the wings on his back turned a dark grey with a purple tint and his mouth grew by three sizes to accommidate his teeth. Two large muscular hands and arms started to jut out of his shoulders.

Zhan felt strong. He also felt very hungry.

After putting away the Gygax, Zhan started to flap his wings. 'Heavy' Taking flight, Zhan's pace was gradual but he moved like a tank, crawling through the air. Zhan Landed.

-{"Kuwahahahat"} Ferser laughed maniacally for a bit while Zhan started to push himself down the road. Step by step he started to gain momentum. Eventually, Zhan was charging, barreling through the landscape. Trees, rocks, animals. Anything in his way was cleared.

Ferser stopped laughing.

Genba, Abbi and Mike had control over their own airships, Genba watched closely as they flew over the Remains of Minaur City. The Gravesite of his wife and children, he threw out a few prayers to the sinkhole. Abbi saw it from down the corridor, she had recently laid a clutch of eggs. They were safely tucked away in the Tower City with Qu, he did a great job keeping them warm. Nothing in the world could keep her from finally going on a coordinated offensive.

Charging through the landscape, animals were easily frightened, seeking shelter from the intense vibrations and noises that came from the Airships. It was almost too hard to think while standing outside of one, it was only on the inside with shielding that someone could regain their composure.

Any animal, monster or being down on the ground as one of the Airships passed, would likely have a headache or simply run away.

Then, It happened. A thud against the hull, then another.

'Tink, Tink, Tink, Tink, Tink. depump depump, depump.' Footsteps and impacts could be heard on the exterior.

Small creatures, covered in blood were crawling all over the hulls of the Airships. The Bloodspawn of Vampires were scouting the area. Enraged by the noise of the Aerocraft, they attacked. Some of their impacts cause them to explode, corrosive fluids dripped all over one of the hulls but there was no damage. It was like flying through a field of bugs, they splattered against the transparent shielding. Those that were not struck by the front end were clinging to its exterior and growing in number.

"Okay, listen up. Fliers. I want fire and wood users to coordinate, keep en eye out for your battle buddies. We dismount in 30 seconds." Genba stood at the doorway ready to open it. "When I open the hatch, I want a clean burn around the door. Don't let any of those things inside and don't die out there." Genba threw a switch and the door started to open. "Now!"

As soon as the word left his mouth, the Dragon Corp opened up with a breath attack on the hatch and exterior. A rush of wind made it hard to hear. When there were no more Bloodspawn in the path, they started to exit and fire in every direction. Three covered the door while the other fifty fliers aboard exited.

Genba threw the switch again and sealed the hatch. The heat singed some of his coat but it was nothing out of the ordinary, Abbi and him spent lots of time in the forge. Drinking a potion, his burns disappeared.

"READY THE MAIN CANNON, TARGET THE BULK, WATCH OUT FOR FRIENDLIES!" Abbi yelled out and the Modified Railguns whirled to action. Anti-gravity magic shells and magnetic accelerator talismans made the conversion possible, it was their first real attempt at a powderless firing solution. Spike shells were refilled into the chamber as the firing continuously consumed them.

As they fired into the air, the spikes drilled through their targets in a spiraling motion. a range of nearly 10 km left little it couldn't hit with some practice. Far targets didn't receive the proper penetration and the ground was quickly littered with spikes. The railgun firing never stopped.

Dodging bits of metal in the sky and using their combined breath attacks, the Bloodspawn were erradicated with the joint efforts of the Assault team. A few more kilometers away and over the horizon, broken city walls and a moat of brown gasses sat against the hillside. The city looked like jagged rock, worthless and vile. Remains were cast everywhere, carcasses littered it rubble filled streets.

Creatures lurked among the debris and felt the vibrations of the Aerocraft. Looking to the skies shiny objects appeared and small black dots started to emerge. The hooked to the ground and reeled back, dragging the silvery mass from the sky.

More dots appeared, white, red, black, orange, green, blue.. so many colors. A burning bird streaked in, its blackened feathers sucked in the light around it, hiding it, masking it even in the daylight.

LuSha stopped outside of the City, Roared to the sky and poured his elemental essence out in a flood. A barrier started to form around the battleground, it shrank with their advance.
