"Okay, that's great and all, but what about Annie? How do I explain this to her? What about Lia?" Lin Ke asks.

Lily shrugs. "I didn't calculate that you would attract so many girls to follow you. What am I supposed to do about that? What I can say is that I have a certain limit to the amount of power I can use and that limit is just high enough that I can bring another person."

Lin Ke's face turns slightly red at that first sentence. "Hey, no! There were special circumstances that… They're only here for-" Lin Ke stops himself before he gets further sidetracked.

"Anyways, what you're saying is I have to make up an excuse to tell one of them? I guess the most obvious, and easiest choice would be Annie… But how do I explain this to her…" Lin Ke wonders.

Then, a bright idea occurs to Lin Ke.

"Hey Annie." Lin Ke calls out to Annie.

Annie, who was crouching by the lake, looks over at him. "Hey Lin Ke."
