Stay Quiet

The moment he put down his brush, Lily focused back on Lin Ke. She had been focusing more on talking to Lia in her head but now came back to Lin Ke.

Taking a quick glance at the sketch, Lily answers. "Mmm. Alright I guess. It's barely passable."

With that, the paper quickly disappears from view, leaving Lin Ke to put away his equipment.

"Alright then, since we're done here, let's start heading back up." Lily suggests.

Lin Ke nods. "Sure."

Taking one final glance at this place, Lin Ke smiles gently. For some reason, this place calmed Lin Ke down deeply. The sounds of the waters around him, the peaceful stillness of the depths of the lake. It made him feel like nothing in the world mattered, as if he was free to do anything he wished, without any hardships.

Alas, Lin Ke knew that was not possible. That fragile bubble would be so easily shattered by that man known as Serxe.
