Lacking A Soul

Hearing that, Verhom was clearly confused. "What do you mean by that?" He asked.

"Exactly what I said, Your painting is lacking a soul." Lin Ke repeats.

Verhom feels extremely stifled at this point. Lin Ke had given such a vague answer after getting Verhom to beg so pitifully for Lin Ke to tell him the flaw.

Verhom felt as if he had just been cheated out of something. However, due to Prince Andrew's presence right next to Lin Ke, he wasn't able to complain about it.

Without another option, he could only try to expose Lin Ke by getting him to explain further and elaborate on what he meant.

"Could you please elaborate on what you mean? This one doesn't understand." Verhom says through gritted teeth. He felt like coughing up a puddle of blood as he uttered the phrase.

Hearing Verhom beg him, Lin Ke felt even better now. "Hehe… Since you are asking so politely, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to educate a young junior like you."
