Trouble at the Gates

They had arrived at a tall overbearing wall. It stretched onward, enclosing the entire Palace Complex within it. Lin Ke stared up at the walls with a surprised expression. It was an extremely smooth sort of rock. It was polished and clean, completely not what you would expect from the walls of a palace all around. How did they even manage to keep it so clean? Did they have a hose or something?

At the gates of the palace was a large entrance way that led through the thick walls. The walls seemed to stretch onward for quite a few feet and seemed to be made of solid stone. This design reminded Lin Ke of the design of the Chinese imperial palace when he had visited BeiJing. It was quite cool to see. Soon enough, they passed through the entrance way and were greeted by 10 guards armed with long pointed spears each.

They quickly surrounded them, blocking off their path.
