Fixing her luggage she saw the gift from her best friend week ago, she let out a small laugh as she was scanning the gift "Ang clumsy talaga" opening the gift was indeed a surprise for her it has written letters and much more "Ang effort"

Elyse was the opposite of Aliyah in many ways, maeeffort ito tapos sya hindi, she would always talk endlessly while she would just talk if she is in the mood.

Her phone rang and it was her best friend calling "Why?" she said as soon as she answers the call

"Miss mo na ba ko?"

Aliyah places her phone in her stand and starts to look at their pictures in the album "I don't miss you even a bit"

"How dare you! Hindi mo na nga ako nirereplyan" Elyse said in a bitter tone

Tiningnan lang ito ni Aliyah sa screen "You know hindi ako pala text na tao" going back on looking on the album she saw a message on the last page, she was sure that this is not her best friend handwriting, "Take care. See you after six months?" was written in a sophisticated and clean way.

Elyse can't contain her feelings and screamed "Oh my goodness! Yan yung sinulat ng kuya ko? How lame"

Aliyah looks at her screen and squints her eyes examining her best friends guilty face. "Anong sabi mo?"

"I just pleaded kuya na sulatan ka ng handwritten letter kasi ano" she reasoned out

Aliyah cannot believe that her best friend once again sells her to her brother, "I told you I will meet Gio and we'll be official no need to push me to your brother huh?"

Gio was Aliyah's suitor for almost half a year, Elyse doesn't like him because he ruined her all-time OTP "Alright" she rolled her eyes "Actually my brother was better than him" she mumbled as she changes her camera to rear camera and showed her brother na busy magpatuyo ng katawan nito after niya magswimming "Hi kuya!" she waved

Aliyah was shocked on what she saw "Tangina Elyse" she screamed as she hanged up "Tag-ulan na tag-ulan sa Pinas nagswiswimming sya, what a showoff" she mumbled

Elyse was left in the call laughed happily, "Iba talaga ang kuya ko" as she typed a sorry message to her best friend for teasing her promising her na hindi na nya uulitin yon.

Adam walks to her sister who was busy giggling while typing in her phone, taking her sister's phone as he takes a picture of his bare body and sends it to her sister's best friend "Sabihin mo lang kung kailangan pa ng best friend mo" he turned around after giving back her sister's phone.

"Walangya ka kuya! Lagot na naman ako nito, kita mo nang nagnonobela ako ng sorry eh!" Her sister complained but he did not even bother to look at his sister's pitiful face.

When Aliyah step out of the plane, blazing sunlight welcome her, she can already feel the summertime in the Philippines, "Kainit na iyan ah" she mumbled as she follows her parents

While waiting, Elyse was impatiently looking at her watch see if how many minutes have passed since her best friend's arrival was announced "Baka naman hindi nila tayo nakita kuya?" asking the tanned man beside her

Adam shrugged "Maybe" He saw her gasped and hesitate then to struggle with a decision.

"Hindi maari ito" she said abruptly "Hawakan mo to" bigay nito sa placard na ginawa ng kapatid nya para iwelcome ang kanyang best friend at sinimulan na nito ang pagkalkal sa kanyang bag "Why did I forgot it? Where is it?"

Adam took his phone out and give it to his sister; he knew enough about her to realize what she is looking for.

Before Elyse could dial her best friend number her brother took again his phone and pointed out a petite girl with pink hair who was confidently walking out. "Mas mabilis talaga sya magpalit ng kulay kaysa sa panahon" she giggled and run off her feet to her best friend

Flabbergast by the sudden hug she received Aliyah didn't utter a word until she feels suffocated by the tight hug given by Elyse, "Elyse, I can't breathe. Papatayin mo ba ako?" she uttered habang inaalis ang pagkakayakap sa kanya nito

Inalis ni Elyse ang pagkakayap nya dito at tiningnan ito ng maigi "Konti na lang. Sinong may sabi sayo na wag ako replayan ng weeks?"

"Okay. Alright. Sorry" patting her best friend's hair, Aliyah's golden-brown eyes met his deep black eyes, eyes narrowed, she got a vertical wrinkle between her eyebrows. Her lips pursed slightly.

Stared brazenly into her eyes, he walks towards them "Welcome back" he uttered and look into Aliyah's parents "Mr. and Mrs. Argania"

"Oh, Vincent! Good to see you here!" Mrs. Argania cheerfully said as she looks at the tanned boy who is holding a placard welcoming her precious daughter "Thank you for picking us up"

"No worries" he smiled at them as he helps them with their baggage

Elyse rolled her eyes "Tita wag kayo papalinlang sa kuya ko, I dragged him here. I did a good job 'di ba tita mommy?"

Mrs. Argania look at the little who was clinging on the arm of her precious daughter "You did a good job, and because of that let's go out on dinner"

"I like that idea!" she giggled as she dragged her best friend forward

Aliyah looks back at her parents and Adam squinting her eyes to the tanned boy happily walking beside her mom "Kasama ka?"

Mrs. Argania eyed her daughter "Aliyah Rose" she warned

While waiting for their dinner Adam was busy watching the two girls from the edge of his vision, the best friends are busy chatting on what did they missed these past few months of being away with each other. "So basically, you are with Gio? At two months na?" He heard her sister blurt out, and this statement perks his ears. Adam takes a sip on the glass of wine beside him as he stares on the blushing woman sitting across him.

Aliyah nods her head answering the question of her furious best friend "You didn't ask" she said before her best friend could say something about it.

Mrs. Argania sighed as she heard the conversation of the two girls, her vision landed on the young man sitting across her daughter. "Lilipas din yan, she's just excited to be in a relationship" she bluntly said, her daughter Aliyah was looking at her mom "Mom!" but she just shrugged at tinignan si Adam "Do you have girlfriend, Vincent?"

Sipping on his wine "Wala po" Cold gaze was fixed on the innocent Aliyah who was busy minding her own business. "Maybe in the future po, if you want to" he added

The full moon already shines bright in the center of the sky when the dinner ended, humid air greeted Aliyah and her parents when they got out of the restaurant. Elyse look at her best friend she missed Aliyah exhaling deeply she looked at her brother and with determination in her hazel eyes "Adam Vincent, ako ay matutulog sa bahay nina Aliyah, no but's allowed" she placed her finger on her brother's lips before it could say something

Adam look at his sister at hinawakan ng mahigpit ang kamay nito "We have our own house and you will only bother them, no but's allowed" balik nya sa sinabi ng kapatid nya

"Kuya naman eh" Elyse stomped her feet as she looks at her best friend asking for help.

"Vianna Elyse" he warned as he looked at the parents of Aliyah "Sorry my sister is just stubborn" sabi ni Adam at inakbayan na ang kanyang kapatid para hindi na ito maka pulupot sa kanyang best friend

"Don't worry she won't bother us, pwede sya mag overnight" Mrs. Argania willingly said "We will send her safely tomorrow, you don't need to worry. I'm sure Aliyah missed her too" She smiled

Dali-dali namang inalis ni Elyse ang pagkakaakbay sa kanya ng kuya niya and ran to her best friend side giving her brother a teasing look.

Aliyah on the other side was just busy seeing the interaction of the people around her not wanting to talk because she is not in the mood.

Seeing her sister's behavior left Adam speechless, moving his vision from the petite pink-haired woman to Mr. and Mrs. Argania "I'm sorry" he smiled a little "Thank you in advance for accommodating my brat sister"

"Rest assured she's not a bother in our house," Mr. Argania said in his low voice "We will go now," he said and escorts his wife to the parked car.

Looking at the silhouette of her sister and Aliyah board into the black car, after Adam ensures that the car was out of his vision he decided to head back to his parent's home.
