Elyse was watching something in her laptop when Adam came walks in the living room, looking at her brother "Himala ang aga mo ngayon ha"

Adam just ignore her statement "Did Aliyah gave something to you?"

"Meron" Elyse said at mabilis pa sa kidlat her brother's hand was in front of her "Anong gagawin ko sa kamay mo?"

"Ibigay mo na sa akin" utos nito while tapping his fingers on her laptop

She looks at him confusedly, "Gusto mong gawin ang requirements na binigay ni Aliyah?" she squealed "Omg! You're the kindest and best brother in the world!" putting her laptop aside she stood up on the sofa and hug her brother

"What?" he was stunned by the words her sister just said, hindi ito ang hinihingi niya na binigay ni Aliyah

"Thank you talaga kuya!" she shrieks giving her laptop to his confused brother "Nandyan ang details ng kailangan mong gawin. I'm so blessed having a brother like you!" she said before running away

"What the hell just happened?" Adam mutters as he looked at the laptop in his hand

While typing something on his sister's laptop, a notification sudden appears that caught Adam's eyes, it was a message of Aliyah for her sister. Opening of the message, Aliyah was asking for Elyse's help, asking her to pick her up.

But before he could type something a message pop up, it was his sister's response, 'Suffer'.

Aliyah who is still on the date desperate to have someone drag her out of the café so she could rest without hurting the feelings of her boyfriend responds, 'Please. I just want to go home but Gio will take it on a bad way'

Elyse who's upstairs laying in her bed, responds, 'So you will make me a shield and make me look a bad one here?'

Aliyah smiled at Gio who's busy telling her something and typed on her phone 'No! Please! I want to rest now. You are the only one who could help me'

Elyse who is still mad at her responds 'I don't want to, just message my brother or someone to help you don't bother me'

"Elyse" Aliyah murmured

"What," Gio asked?

"Nothing go ahead I'll just respond to this text," she said as she typed on her phone 'You know you two Diaz siblings are the only one I know, and your brother was busy'

Adam just watch for a more time how the best friend messages each other until he typed something, 'I am not busy'

Aliyah saw how Elyse responds to her messages start to see hope 'That's exactly my point' she replied

Adam typed 'Say please first'

Baffled by the response she got, she looks at Gio's direction who just go to the bathroom, she reluctantly typed 'Please'

Having a smile on his face Adam responded 'Good girl. Promise to give me a gift and I'll pick you up'

Confused by the message she chose to ignore it because she badly needs to rest, 'Okay. We are in the usual café' Aliyah just responded

Adam replies 'I'll be there in a moment'

Aliyah smiled, finally, she can go home she typed 'Thanks'

Elyse who just got out from her bathroom was shocked by the conversation she read, she immediately gets out of her room and runs downstairs. "How dare you! You use my account! I will not pick her up!" she declares when she saw her brother who's practically leaving

Adam looked at his sister "Who said you'll be the one to pick her up?"

Elyse shows the messages "You responded to her that I'll pick her up using my account!"

Adam shrugs "But I am the one who messages it," he said and start to walk to the front door, looking back to his sister "Don't tell her. Let her be surprised" and then he walks away

While munching the last bite she had, Aliyah looks at the scenery outside it started raining so her request to Gio to go home early was postponed again. "It was raining so hard" she commented "Are you okay?" tingin niya kay Gio that looks so gloomy, he has bad memory that traumatized him.

"It's fine. As long as you're with me" Gio smiled and held her hands "Can I borrow your phone?" he asks

"Why?"

"Why can't I?" he answered back

Aliyah doesn't want to argue anymore so she just handed him her phone to Gio "We've been together for six months already" she said, it has an underlying meaning that they are with each other and he still didn't trust her.

"Yeah" Gio agreed as he was busy checking Aliyah's phone

Unbothered Aliyah just sipped on her strawberry drink, she had nothing to hide in her phone. Looking outside she saw a familiar car which stopped in front of the café. Observing the car opens its door and a man steps outside while holding a black umbrella, her eyes widened.

"What is he doing here?" she mumbled as it perks the ears of Gio

Looking at her girlfriend's shock expression, he looked outside and saw Adam holding an umbrella under the rain. "Did you call him?" tanong nito kay Aliyah

"Why would I?" Aliyah answers

Adam who is outside of his car, could see the shock and confused expression in Aliyah's face through the café's window, they stared into a distance and he gestures her to come out.

Gio immediately grab the wrist of Aliyah when he saw what Adam's want "Dito ka lang" he ordered

Aliyah was confused for a moment when she realized that it could Elyse who send him here, after her realization her phone rang.

Gio who's the one holding Aliyah's phone looked at the phone caller it was 'Mr. Diaz', looking outside he saw that it was Adam who is calling. After showing Adam that he was holding Aliyah's phone he declines the call.

"Gio!" saway ni Aliyah and gets her phone in his hand

Seeing that Aliyah's phone is back to its owner Adam called again.

Aliyah immediately accepts the call placing her phone on her ear "Hello"

"Put it on the loudspeaker mode" he ordered

Hesitating, Aliyah looked at Adam who is still outside looking at her under the rain, Adam nods at her.

Putting it on a loudspeaker, "Your parents are on their way going to Diaz residence if you don't want to get caught" he paused "Get out of that café right now" he commanded

Surprised by his news Aliyah immediately stood up and fixes her things "I need to go" paalam niya kay Gio

Gio grabs her bag "You can't leave"

Aliyah eyed her boyfriend "Gio just this, please? I'll be dead if they caught me"

Gio stood up "I thought they knew you are with me?"

"Yes, but still please Gio my parents need time to accept it," she said and grabs her bag in Gio's grasp "I need to go"

Seeing Aliyah na umalis sa pwesto nila sa café, Adam walks to the entrance waiting for Aliyah.

"Nasaan na ang mga magulang ko?" Aliyah immediately asked when she saw Adam in the entrance holding an umbrella.

"In the house" Adam simply said

"Tangina. Tara na" Aliyah immediately walks forward without sharing an umbrella with Adam, using her bag as a cover

Before she could get away Adam immediately pulled her, sharing his umbrella with her "Are you dumb?" sabay hinawak sa balikat nito at naglakad papuntang kotse.

"Can you get your hands off me?" she eyed him as she peeks on the café, Gio was still there watching them.

He looks at her for a second "My umbrella is too small for both of us, just bear it for a minute. I'm bearing it too"

Aliyah just rolled her eyes when they reach the car, she immediately opens the passenger seat.

After waiting for her to get in, Adam directly goes to the driver seat and starts the car.

"This is not the road going to your house," she said while staring at the scenery passed by her.

"We are going to your house" Adam glimpse at her before stating the fact

"What? Why?" her forehead crinkled in confusion, "I thought my parents are at your house?"

"I said in the house. Not in my house"

Bewildered Aliyah looked at Adam "But you said they are on the way going to Diaz Residence?"

Adam shook his head and look at her with a grin "I was kidding"

Her eyes widened, "You tricked me?!"

"The wrong choice of word" Adam stop the car as the traffic light goes red, he looked at her "I helped you, you pleaded right?"

"Huh?"

Adam rubs her hair "It was me who's you're texting with" and then he starts the car as the green light was on.

"Why you are using Elyse account? Do you monitor it too? How cruel. She needs her privacy even you are family" sabi ni Aliyah ng dire-diretso

"Coming from a girl, na kanina lang ay hawak ng lalaki niya ang phone nya. Also, it just happened that her laptop is with me and saw your messages, seeing how a poor soul like you pleaded I replied out of pity"

Aliyah looked at him angrily "Napakabait mo naman po pala" she sarcastically said to him

Adam smirks seeing how annoyed "Do you think I would do something without having anything in return?"

Aliyah rolled her eyes because her prediction was exactly perfect "What an abominable shit person you are" she commented while looking at the dark scenery

"I'm born and raised to be a businessman after all" he boasted

Turning her head to Adam's direction she eyes him curiously "So, what is it?"

Adam took a glance at Aliyah "The gift"

"Putangina" she burst out of laughter "Di ka pa din makamove-on doon? You've been asking me for that gift for days already!"

"That's the point. It has been days and you are not yet giving it to me. Give me my birthday gift" he insisted

"Kasi hindi mo na birthday! Hindi na nga birthday gift yon! Di na pwede"

Adam stopped the car as they reached Aliyah's house, facing her "It can be a gift only or a belated gift or just anything"

Napahawak sa noo si Aliyah, "Bahala na" she said and unbuckled her seatbelt

"And one more thing" pahabol ni Adam sa bababa na si Aliyah, nang lumingon si ito "You should make amends with Elyse, she's been down for a week now"

Aliyah looked at Adam "You really care for your sister huh? Don't worry I'll talk to her tomorrow" she said at bumaba na ng sasakyan.

Pero bago pa nya maisara ang pinto ng sasakyan Adam reminded her "My gift or else you'll be in debt to me"

"Parang sirang plaka? Oo na para sa ikakatahimik ng kaluluwa mo" she said and slammed the door.

After hearing her annoyed answer, Adam smiled and started the car. When he got home her sister welcomes her with a tear in her eyes, "Mom and dad are back"

Wiping her tears "It's a good thing why you're crying? You look nasty" he chuckled

Eyeing her all smiley brother "Don't you know? Did you already forget? It means you are next"
